The guy who goes around correcting his 20 year old daughter when she gives a political opinion he doesnt like is ok with other parents signing off on mastectomies for minors.   You cant make this stuff up.

He tired to so hard with his stupid justification, scurrying the internet looking for some validation. And failed. There is no validation, ever, but he just can’t say it. It’s black and white. Zero nuance to it.

Yup. It is black and white. Kids- no. Adults- do whatever you want. I’m off my rocker, right? A real extreme right wing religious fanatic and you’re just full of empathy and concern. So enlightened. 🤡

https://www.cbsnews.com/baltimore/news/gender-reassignment-surgery-transgender-evey-winters-peritoneum-robotic-vaginoplasty/

I'm not saying there aren't actual trans people, but something about this story seems contrived:

Quote

When Evey hit her lowest darkest point, she moved to Maryland.

"I actually moved here to kill myself. I was finally over it and I was feeling spiteful," she said, "But I also knew I could get medical care here for my transition. And I wanted people to know who I was when I died. I didn't want to hide that in death, too."

She moved to Maryland to kill herself, but... not really.

To me the whole thing reads as an infomercial for why hormone therapy and surgery are super awesome.  :dunno:

So, it’s the liberals’ fault that Republican candidates are trashy people who cheat on their wives and have kids out of wedlock? Is there anything you CAN’T blame on liberals?

Thats not exactly what I said.  I won't go round and round with you guys about this crap but ill say it one more time slower and Im good.

The country has slowly moved more and more left over the years.   This isn't debatable.   Especially socially.

Family values have slowly but surely deteriorated over the years.

You do the math.

I am not saying Hershel Walker is a shlthead because of Democrats.  I am saying you can't run on values and win politics these days.

My post was quoting you saying both parties have changed.  My point is: well duh.  Society has changed and society doesn't care as much about values as it did 25 years ago.

It reads like a child threatening to throw a tantrum in public if mommy doesn't buy him the action figure.

But it isn't a child.  Who cares what an adult does?

Well, we’re waiting. Now run along you unserious little rodent and find your moldy cheese somewhere in the corner of the internet and post a link.  This should be even sadder than your earlier attempt.

I disagree with your 2nd and 3rd sentences. As you said, both parties have changed. We’ve moved left on some things such as gay rights. We’ve moved right on others such as abortion. As for family values, the divorce rate hasn’t changed much in the past 50 years. There are many GOP candidates that didn’t cheat on their wives or pay porn stars to cover up affairs or have secret kids with different women. The GOP voters chose the immoral ones in the primaries instead. That’s on them.

Perhaps we disagree about what “family values” are? If anything, I see couples these days trying to do better because half of them suffered through their parents’ divorces.

I don’t think it’s a liberal or conservative caused thing. I think it’s an obsession with celebrities. And the biggest celebrities aren’t exactly faithful spouses or otherwise moral people. It makes no sense to vote for people based on reality TV stardom or sports accomplishments, or to take health advice from the guy who hosted Fear Factor. But Americans can’t seem to help themselves.

You just have to google "gender reassignment surgery saved my life" and you'll see them.  If you're fine with adults and just want to stop kids, then add "teen" to the search and you will find stories of teens.

For the adults that had the surgery, you will see that they all say they thought about suicide has kids.  For trans youths, the suicide rate is much higher. https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/transgender-teens-7-6-times-more-likely-to-attempt-suicide

So yes, there are many many stories out there of trans teens who think about suicide, get surgery, either as a teen or an adult, and then are much better.

And yes, there are also stories of trans people that get surgeries and regret it afterwards.   There is a whole subreddit for this.

The larger point here is that you want to deny that any of this exists, and you want to sit there behind your computer and tell these kids what they are or aren't allowed to do like some blowhard dooshbag.

As I've stated numerous times, I don't think kids should get these surgeries as a broad statement, but I'm also smart enough to know that I don't know every person's story, I'm not a child psychologist, I don't have much life experience in this area at all.  So I'm open to the possibility that this type of care could be beneficial.

You on the other hand are a troll and want to dictate people's lives based on your ignorant beliefs.

If Tulsi Gabbard was a 60 year old dude no one would even give a sh!t what she thought. Couple yoga IG videos and middle aged men around the country de-base themselves, it's actually pathetic.

Brenden O'Neill with another excellent article.   This one is about Tulsi's exit from the dem party:   Tulsi’s too good for the Democrats - spiked (spiked-online.com)

A couple of excerpts from it:

You could not ask for a better illustration of America’s out-of-touch, decaying elites – a man who cheered on a war that was based on a pile of lies denouncing a woman who ended up in that war as an apologist for authoritarians. Some of Gabbard’s persecutors have no shame whatsoever.

One of the main criticisms being made of Gabbard is that she’s leaving politics to pursue the culture war. She just wants to be a rich Fox News firebrand. This idea that it’s the likes of Tulsi who are whipping up the culture war is so false. It’s far more accurate to say she is resisting the culture war. It’s the people who say men can be women, and that white people are wicked, and that millions of Americans are ‘deplorables’ or ‘semi-fascists’ who are waging a war on reason and freedom.

I like Tulsi......but she may eventually turn out to be another Trojan RINO

I realize she's not officially a Republican yet, but where else can she go?

It’s not just this specific scandal with Walker. I don’t think these revelations truly came as a surprise to many. They definitely knew he lied about being in the FBI, and about graduating from college, and holding a gun to a woman’s head, stalking different women, and on and on… and his primary candidates did publicize these things, but people voted for him anyway.

Quote

But in his book, Walker does not address several claims about his behavior – some of which are documented in police records. Walker did not write, for example, about allegations that he once held a gun to his ex-wife’s head. Nor does he address a claim made in 2002 that he stalked a former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader. After the book was published, a woman claiming to have had a long-term relationship with Walker accused him of stalking and threatening her as well.

His critics have contended that he has yet to address the full scope of troubling allegations. Walker did not participate in any of the primary debates, and his opponents, most notably Georgia Agricultural Commissioner Gary Black, have demanded an explanation in his absence.

“Georgia deserves to know the details,” Black told ABC News’ “Nightline.” “There's a pattern of deflect, defer, run, hide, twist. It's unacceptable for service in the United States Senate. In my opinion, I think most Georgians are going to agree.”

If the Republicans had put forward just about any other candidate except Herschel Walker, they’d be favored to win Georgia. Instead, the latest polls show Warnock up by 7-8 points. I’d imagine if the political losses start piling up, GOP voters might consider “electability” a bit more in future primaries.

You’re right. I do remember the flashing warning signs leading into the primary election. The stuff that came out beforehand was already pretty bad, but now seems forgettable considering how bad the info was that came out after.

Sheesh.
