naomi 343 Posted November 10, 2019 I watched different pieces of it on YT. It did get a little wild at times, even for The View. Donald Trump Jr. had an interesting demeanor. His tit-for-tat on-the-offensive statements seemed to be expressed with genuine feeling behind them, not just to be playing the game, if that makes sense. Bickering, but not just for the optic of appearing right, he deeply believes he is (more deeply than the other people with their POVs). TBayXXXVII 2,116 Posted November 10, 2019 I think Don Jr came off great in this, and so did the audience. If you noticed, they were getting influenced by him. They were applauding his points much more louder and abundantly that the hosts. To note, the hosts started trashing the President right off the top and he pointed out Joy's black face, which we all know she did (though she used the term "darkening" - is there really a difference?), and they tried to excuse it... then he called out Whoopi for the "it wasn't rape rape" comments. Notice how quick they jumped right to more President bashing? It was pretty obvious he owned that stage. Let's also call it for what it was, it was flat out lying to their base (from the hosts). President Trump did NOT say that Mexican's are rapists, he said that the gang members and the rapists were Mexican's.
