Baseball coach sued by player for telling him to slide

The kid rounded second and headed for third when the coach told him to slide. It was a close play and the kid ended up hurting his ankle and had to quit baseball. He sued the coach. Kid was 15 playing JV baseball

Ridiculous how long that lasted.  It should have never saw a court room.  If that coach been found responsible, youth sports would have been gone forever... all because of a fluke accident.

Apparently there were 2 dooshes. But one got convinced to change their mind and find for the coach.
