Cranberry Juice

  1. 1. Do you keep Cranberry juice around as a beverage, not as a mixer?

As I am making coffee, mrs grabs a bottle of cranberry juice from the fridge (we do not typically keep it around).

"Well that explains a lot. Who has the yeast infection?"  Mrs' mother is in town and there is a lot of crabby estrogen floating around.

Mrs:  "What?  A lot of people drink cranberry juice."

Me: "most mix it with vodka."

So GC..... how many of you keep cranberry juice around as a beverage not mixer?

It’s a natural diuretic. My wife drinks it when she's got her period.

Do you got your period?

I buy it as a mixer but will have a glass in the morning occasionally. Straight cranberry juice is tart AF though, so I get Ocean Spray instead.

Isn't it supposed to be good for UTI not yeast infection or period?

Straight cranberry juice tastes rather nasty. Most the stuff ya drink is a cocktail with apple or pear juice mostly

I like certain variations of cranberry juice, like Cran Cherry, that mix it with some other flavor.  So I voted yes.

I only buy the real cranberry juice. It's more sour. Costs more than the 'cocktail' juice stuff, but tastes delicious.

I always drink it. It keeps the urinary tract healthy. It prevents urinary tract infections. (not yeast infections)

Did someone say they were drinking it for yeast infections? That's funny. An old GF of mine once needed some lotramine (?). Maybe it was cranberry flavored.

it was I.  I was asking them if we had it in the house because someone might have had a yeast infection.

That's classic. I wouldn't have known it either if I didn't get asked to pick up something at the Walgreens a while back.

When I was in my 20’s, I always kept Crangrape around for vodka. The ladies loved it. Or maybe I loved it and I just claimed I bought it for the ladies. Hard to remember the specifics.
