Autopsy of Jane Doe was really good.  Brian Cox is a quality actor.  Also had a focking hot corpse that wasn't shy about showing it all.

What service is this on?  I have been meaning to watch it, but never got around to it...

So what so you freaks look for in a horror movie?  Good ones are so hard to find.  I personally like the ones that could possibly happen in real life.  I get the idea that its meant to be fantasy to some degree, but I cant get into the demonic possession BS or Sci Fi.

Torture porn...

I know this movie has been mentioned in previous threads, but might as well mention it again:  Tucker & Dale Vs. Evil.

More comedy than horror, but so damn funny and violent.

Tucker and Dale vs Evil is one of the best movies...  Alan Tudyk is great in that movie...

I watched the trailer for this and it had me right up to where the lights start blowing out during the autopsy. Not a supernatural fan. Maybe Im getting to cynical about these things nowadays.

Just watched Legion on Netflix with Paul Bettany and Dennis Quaid...

Quality 👍👍

Yeah, that one was good.  I have a soft spot for that because I first watched it via a couple bootleg video files when in Afghanistan (contractor, not Digby Navy SEAL).  One video was much better quality than the other, so of course I watched that one.  All was fine and dandy until pretty much the climax when all of a sudden I realized that the audio switched from English to some Eastern European language!  It actually took me a bit to realize because there was fighting going on. WTF?  I then had to switch to the lesser quality video to finish it out.

Good times.

Rewatching Green Room on Netflix.  Not really horror, but some brutal violence and well acted. Jean Luc Picard as a white supremacist! Can't beat that!

I rented a movie last night called In Fabric on Prime. It was the weirdest I have seen in a long while, reminded me a LOT of David Lynch making a 70s Italian horror movie. Maybe a little Terry Gilliam I’m there a little.

Also if you haven’t seen it I forgot to mention Mandy with Nick Cage from 2018. I felt like I was high the whole time.

I don't see a thread about horror movies, so will add on to this one...

Saw this article at the Daily Mail:  https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-11976003/Netflixs-terrifying-films-revealed-fans-left-scarred-life-throwing-up.html

It mentions that these horror movies have left people scarred and throwing up and other things...

Anyone know anything about these?  @MDC, any insight?

Movies mentioned in article:
The Strays
Fall
Unlocked
Incantation
Old People
The Call

Been watching a lot of horror movies recently, some have been pretty damn good...  I really liked "The Menu" and the two "Quiet Place" movies and the two "Escape Room" movies weren't too bad (the first better than the second...)  I have caught more, but these have stuck out more...

Never even heard of these but thanks for posting.

I've seen Fall.  It's only scary if you've got a fear of heights, which I sort of do.  I've worked my way out of it and am pretty good up to about 80 feet now.  No way I'd ever rock climb or try climbing a tower like the girls do in the movie.  So yeah, my palms were sweating the entire time.

Love horror, will watch the others for sure.

I've seen Old People.  It was decent enough but I don't remember too much about it.

🤣

I watched it with the sound off while on calls.  Tapped out during the *SPOILER* first torture scene where they have the dude tied up and start cutting him.  Not my kind of horror.

I also tried out The Farm, another in torture genre, tapped out after *SPOILER* they killed the baby, fock that.

Not into the torture horror.  I prefer slashers and demons.

All the Leprechauns were on Peacock in march, I watched them all in celebration of St Patty's day and my ancestry.

Might like Child’s Play too.

It’s been awhile since I’ve seen it; I just remember being very disturbed by the whole thing. It’s not often that a movie can do that to me.
