NYG hire Jason Garrett - OC

Recommended Posts

Is he still being paid by Jerry under the table to keep NYG down?

Jerry stripped play calling from Red in the summer of 2013. Which means the last time Garrett actually called plays was 2012.

I'm a little shocked NY hired him knowing this.

They probably figured that maybe he will give them secrets to try to stop their losing streak against the Cowboys...

Dallas has a pretty good offense last year.

Against sh!t teams early when they were winning and in garbage time late when they were losing. Complete fecking opposite of a good offense.

Don't be.

Garrett has a lot of great ideas.  Some say, his fresh and creative attitude combined with his intelligence (went to Princeton), that Garrett could find himself head coaching a team someday if he keeps progressing.

The last 4 years Red actually called plays ('09, '10, '11, '12) - Dallas Red Zone offense ranked: 18th, 9th, 20th and 20th.

Garrett is stuck in the 90's - as predictable and non innovative as you will find. Get used to 2 TE, FB sets with no motion.

Barkley fantasy owners will benefit though - Red will feed him the shiit out of the ball for sure.

He did have to call Jerry to ask if it was okay if he took the OC job.

That definitely didn't happen.

we shall see

I HATE it when players and Coaches migrate within the division, I find it weak and disrespectful

Just read that Garrett was 7-2 in Philadelphia.  That’s pretty good.

I would love it if the Giants could get Bill Callahan to coach the O-line. That would be a great move.

Even though Garrett as OC will be a success, Giants won't get a whiff of the playoffs while he is there. He'll be hired as a HC after 2 seasons.

They could make the playoffs next season in that division

Division still takes 9 wins. Giants top out at 6. Math doesn't work.

Yes I will. I went  easy on you and Cruzer because I like you guys and it’s not like you’re scumbag eagles fans. But you better hope it doesn’t work out with Garrett. Or Witten. Oh boy.

This is still funny.

Matt Nagy is what’s funny. No wonder Reid barely let him call the plays.

Both 8-8 last year.

Who had a better team makeup last year? Dallas or Chicago?        Dallas

Who played in a tougher division last year? Dallas or Chicago?      Chicago

Bears have a tough road. Limited amount of draft picks, not much cap room, running game sucks and the QB isn’t progressing.
