Game Notes:

* Can make the case SF had no biz losing that game - were totally straight up dominant for a good part of it.

* Kyle Shanahan has now scored 0 points in his last two SB 4th quarters.

* As killer as the 44 yard, 3rd and 15 conversion was - NOT getting points on the 4th quarter Mahomes pick was just as devastating.

* In the end (minus SF faithful), Jimmy G. was who most thought he was. When faced with pressure or clutch situations - he melted.

* That being said, D. Samuel is a flat out stud... He had 53 yards, on 3 carries - why in da fuq did they stop giving it to him?

* KC is only the 2nd team to score 21 pts. in the 4th qtr. of a SB - Dallas also did it in SB XXVII.

* Dam. Williams was the leading rusher for KC - not only does he not make $90m, not only was he not picked in the top 5 of a draft - but he was undrafted and makes $2.8m.

SF should leave #29 in Miami. That whiff on the Mahomes TD run was brutal. I know tacking isn’t a high priority anymore in tackle football, but that really stood out.

What was with Shady being a healthy scratch?  When that one RB failed to get in from the 1 the commentators mentioned he had hardly touched the ball all season?  You leave McCoy out of the lineup for a player like that?  Obviously didn't matter since they scored on the next play, but made me wonder.

Man dies in fireworks accident immediately following Chiefs Super Bowl win

Kansas City police reported Monday morning that a man attempting to light commercial-grade fireworks in an improvised mortar died Sunday night after suffering a catastrophic head injury.

Police say this happened at 9:17 p.m. in the 9800 block of Richmond, after the Kansas City Chiefs had just won Super Bowl 54, with the game ending at 9:15 p.m.

Further details about the victim or any other injuries related to that incident haven't been released yet.

KCPD says there were also 163 reports of illegal gunfire that they're following up on. The shots were fired between 5:30 p.m. Sunday to 1 a.m. Monday.

At the city's biggest entertainment district, KCPD says there were 20,000 people at Power and Light for a Super Bowl watch party. Police made a total of 14 arrests and ejected 45 people from the district. The Kansas City Fire Department responded to 24 medical incidents during and after the game.

I sell what's called C-Class fireworks(general public approved) and quite a few of those if not properly set-up can still be deadly. My staff and I do our best to educate our customers on this and it's amazing how many know little to nothing about the dangers.I'd assume the above use of catastrophic means he more than likely got his head blown off as an A or B Class shell in an improper tube could easily do that.

Yep...  You can't fault your company for them not listening or thinking they know it all...

Just like the "caution, coffee is hot! " warnings on cups, you'd better slap on a "caution, will blow your haid clean off!" label.

Cops had to chase down some idiot who decided to take a cruise down the parade route before it started.

I was a block away from this with my 13 yr old boy.  I saw the chase ensue, the Escort speed down the route, 2 or 3 cruisers in pursuit then numerous cops on foot and on atvs head that direction.  We were actually walking in that direction, and the crowd starts to run toward it like they wanted to see what was happening.  My son started to make his way in that direction.  I'm like "wtf are you doing?".  I mean I had no idea if this was a terrosist attack or some dumbass just being stupid.  Glad it turned out to be the latter, but folks were lined against the fence on the street as this jackleg sped down the route being chased by the cops.  Kudos to the police for handling it as they did, as this could have been much worse.

we were right near the turn at the end, so right where it all concluded.  Not sure how people can be so dumb.

At lot is being made of the chiefs turning it into a party.  Maybe everyone has seen the lombardi luge, where they took a play from the stanley cup to use the trophy to partake?  Or mahomes pouring a beer from the top of the bus into kelce's mouth on the street?  I think kelce got more on his $20k louis vutton fur than in his mouth but whatever.  And then everywhere you went yesterday smelled like weed, and a couple times I looked at my son and was like, "look, they are smoking a joint (or blunt) right there.

No one seemed to care and it was just a huge party.  And then some folks on the interwebs are talking about what a disgrace it was, and should have been respected more as a family friendly parade than it was.

I grew up with the partying of chiefs games so I get it.  But I've calmed down a little bit in my older age and go with my son now more than anything else so it's usually just a couple beers anymore.  I see both sides, but really have no problem with how it all went down.  I think the police made a post that only 5 arrests were made, a couple I think involved with the chase, the drunk guy that fell out of the tree, another beligerent on a horse and maybe one more?  Not bad if you ask me.

Sounds fine by me.  Other cities tend to burn sh1t to the ground and overturn cop cars so nothing wrong with folks having fun.  Cherish the memory with your son as you never know when or if it will happen again.

Unfortunately never had a chance to enjoy a Bills victory celebration, especially since I was in Buffalo for the 1st super bowl loss, but I did take my daughter to the parade for the Seahawks.  That was a blast and amazing how little trouble was caused considering the massive amounts of people that lined the parade route.  Will never forget Marshawn Lynch tossing skittles to the crowd.

I've seen some people say the Eagles Super Bowl ring is the best looking Super Bowl ring ever designed.  I wonder if the Chiefs will try to emulate it or go in a different direction.

Let them party.  They are 20-something millionaires who just reached the pinnacle of a season.

I always avoided the parades and my kids have never gone.  I was actually surprised that they did not go last year, because they are both old enough to go on their own now.  Of course, we have had the opportunity for 12 of these parades in the last 20 years.  :dunno:
