I am disappointed in Trumps response so far. We need 2-3 more days of massive stock drops and then maybe he will get serious about a response.  He needs to increase the budget to fight this by at least a factor of 10, even the democrats proposed a laughably small budget.

The other thing that needs done is testing needs increased ASAP like south korea. If hot spots are not identified quickly we will end up with a city that is as bad as Wuhan.

 

I bet there is a run on supplies in Northern California today.

Mike Pence???  We are going to only hear the Trumped down version of the information. It's one thing to fire anyone on the intelligence team that won't lie for you, but not in an emergency health crisis. The american people need to hear the truth about this and stay ahead of it.

He was basically trying to tell the public that this is much smaller-scale than the basic flu.  Well, influenza has a 0.2% death rate in this country.  That's 1 out of 1000 people die from it.  Coronaviris currently has a 2% death rate globally. That's 1 in 50 people who get it, die from it.  Coronavirus is 20 times more deadly than than influenza and Trump was once again purposely misleading the people he's supposed to be protecting.

There's a lot of space between sending people into a panic and lying to them and telling them it's under control and will disappear when it gets warmer in spring.

This looks to be 1000 times more deadly than the flu and that is with treatment. There was an article in Taiwan news last week that the mortality rate in Wuhan was closer to 5% because they ran out of medical facilities.

We need to slow the spread as much as possible in America so that we also do not run out of medical facilities. This means increasing the budget, increasing testing, and a strong government response. The federal government should not be sparing peoples feelings, they should be laying the groundwork for a strong response that saves peoples lives.
