Never happen. Superbowl is a wine and dine corporate weekend.  They aren't losing a day. Monday off is more likely.

Man up and go to work Monday with a hangover. Kids are too soft these days.

This comes up every year...  Leave it on Sundays...  Maybe can the all-day pre-game and start the game earlier...  Of course can’t do that because then the network can’t charge $5 million for 30 seconds because it isn’t in prime time...  However it still would be $3+...

Does anyone watch the pregame of any NFL game?

I am sure some watch the four hour pre-game...  I never have...  If I am going to watch the game I won’t turn it on until 630pm or so...

To be honest that is probably about the time the game ends...  If not done it should be really close...

I would prefer super bowl to remain on Sunday, but Monday be a holiday.

Me too, but companies decide if you get the paid day off. I don't get MLK day off. I think this would be the same.

There is absolutely no reason to make Monday a day off...

What if the patriots had actually beat Mark Sanchez and then beat the stillers, and were in the game?Would you still have hit the sack?

Just take Monday off.  It's not like you're going to use all that PTO anyway.  And you can't roll it forward.  <_<
