Since the Blue Jays home park is now PNC I'm assuming I get all Pittsburg players as well...  just an FYI... 😎🤣:pointstosky:

Damnit, Yahoo. Moved Bruce into my lineup for Choo before I got busy with other things, come back and see it didn't accept it and Bruce of all people hits a triple. 🤬

Oh crudness, just got an alert that I had players in my lineup for a postponed game:

Jeff Passan and Jesse Rogers of ESPN are reporting that eight more Marlins players and two coaches have tested positive for COVID-19.

As a result, the Marlins have postponed their home opener against the Orioles on Monday. The team has delayed their travel back to Philadelphia while trying to control the situation. This news comes just one day after it was learned that four players (reportedly including Jose Urena, Garrett Cooper, and Harold Ramirez) tested positive on Sunday. It was always going to be a challenge to pull off a season amid a pandemic, but MLB made it just three days before an outbreak presented itself within a clubhouse. Even with expanded rosters, taxi squads, and players staying ready at alternate training sites, it's fair to question how sustainable this all is and what the breaking point might be for MLB. This is a definitive day for the sport.

yikes.

there is a large part of me hoping this season continues without any major hitches. This is all due to feeling that the Rays have one of the best pitching staffs in MLB and can easily make the playoffs in a shortened season.  Get into the dance with Morton-Snell-Glasnow and that bullpen.... Im not saying they are better than the Yanks, or Astros but I don't want to see the window close. Charlie morton isn't getting any younger and has already spoken about retirement. Austin Meadows probably wont be cheapish for much longer. We still have a nice farm system as usual but a wasted year seems to sting more for the small market guys.

Natinals will only get a maximum of two wins this week against the Cubs...  Great start...

Out of seven games, I play the top 5 teams from last season. And one of my other two remaining games is against another playoff.  Dis gon' be tough!

Was I a total turdburglar to scoop up Markakis?  :ninja:

I kinda did it to be cheeky, but I'm not sure I can in good conscience not return him to Burt.  I would be surprised if anyone knew that players could change their mind and opt back in.  I sure didn't.  :dunno:

Any other year, yeah, but this is a totally new thing that nobody understood.  I just got lucky in seeing the news first.  Feels dirty.  :(

Burt, not sure why Nick would not play if both he and the Braves want him to.  🤔

I didn't see that. Haven't really been following along too closely obviously.  My teleworking days are filled with nothing but Trump news, porn and a little work.  I should probably add some MLB into the mix. :D

Called that one...  Though I would have had three wins if it wasn't for that cheap seven-inning CG...

Of course, I got one from Scherzer in that six inning one on opening day...  So I guess we are even...

Phew...  Long way from fourth place (8 GB) and the playoffs...  Going to be a rough ride...

Ah, gotcha, you thought I was still talking about opted-out Kakes, when in fact he has opted back in.  So what say you now, want him?  😎

I’m doing my damndest to put out a lineup and be competitive with the Cardinals season stopped.  I don’t see how I can hit my minimum innings pitched but I have a few non cardinals starters and some relievers.   It giving up yet!!

Same here, within 2 days of each other I heard Cespedes just walked out on his team and then E-Rod has been put on the shelf for the season with a heart condition that may be a result of the VID...this season is a bust for me...

its a bust for everyone really. Knowing that we didnt get a real, full season.... knowing that some teams are going to go through covid hardships more than others (this is why we need a midseason supplemental still).... and most importantly, we lost Ted.

I think at this point its just to have a little fun. Someone will win the title with the * next to it.  I'll still cherish it if I magically win

I'm limping along like everyone.  I haven't been as into it this year as years past but it's homers... what's not to love?

I was actually up in Baltimore, but saw the replay...  Unbelievable that something like that would happen at the MLB level...  I could see that in A-ball or rookie ball, but not in the majors...

Wasted pick I’m afraid. All my cardinals starters are in quarantine. I lost Alcaranta for the Marlins to Covid and now Michael Wacha our with a shoulder injury. As good as Rosenthsl has been, I can’t scrape up the minimum innings pitched so I lose all the pitching categories anyway. Lol.

One thing for sure, our 13/14 matchup will be ugly for both of us...

nothing against the protesting but how the hell am I supposed to compete when my players are all PPD due to protesting and my opponents team is playing all their games including a double header today? :dunno:

I'm with you.  The sports seasons, in the midst of everything that is going on aren't achieving what I think they'd hoped to achieve.  And from a fantasy perspective have and will be difficult to have any sort of gameplan and consistency.
