Duly noted.  I remind Newbie of this often.  Now comes the part where he chimes in with another post with something like "BWAHAHA.  Man you guys really obsess about me.  You'd better take it easy before you have a heart attack."  Something stupid like that.

He's grown but, he's like a child.  It's strange.  I had similar conversations with my son when he was 7 or 8.  Thankfully, he grew out of it around middle school.

If you don't want to be reminded of your obsession, you always have the option of not obsessing. lol    Hardcore and I were having a very mature discussion about socialism. Reality decided he'd pop in and try to deliver a cheap shot. Totally unprovoked. And then like little hyenas, this Utility clown and yourself had to jump in. Yeah, it's definitely a strange obsession. But I love the attention, so keep it coming.  😄

You have seven replies in this thread. Zero about Klobuchar or her policies and seven about me. ROFL  Someone is like a child, alright.  🤣

Because your posts likening farm subsidies to socialism were stupid and you knew they were stupid when you made them.  When Reality gave those posts the short shrift they deserved, you projected an angry mental state onto him (which I did not see at all) and claimed to put your boot up his ass (I didn't see that either).  I didn't know you were having a private conversation with anyone; all of your posts here were public.  Maybe next time you can have this private conversation with HT in private messages so the rest of us can't see them.  Seems like little to ask of a guy that's been banned form this site.

No one said they were private. You have every opportunity to chime in with your opinion on the subject matter. But you didn't. You chimed in bye joining the other two with  personal attacks.

And you are totally 100% wrong about the farm bailouts. It is the very definition of socialism. Same with trying to artificially prop up the coal industry. True capitalism is letting businesses fend for themselves. Successful one survive and weak ones don't. Just because the bailout is the result of a president's fuckup doesntmake it any less of a bailout.

China agreed to cut tariffs in half on 75 billion worth of imports from the US starting Friday.   The trade  war isn’t over yet, but we are starting to get some victories. About time. MAGA.

If the government took control of the farms and told the farmers to pound sand, that would be socialism. The bailout is to help the farmers during the trade war that we shouldn't even be in but Libs and Conservative, Inc. sellout Americans and this the result.

How much do you think the Coronavirus pushed their hand or not really at all? I've been wondering that the last few weeks.. how the virus is or isn't effecting the trade war.

Much like everything with China, who knows? They can’t be trusted one bit. I’m sure it played some role. But when you get past listening to what globalists want, cheap labor and rising stock prices, you come to the conclusion, like Trump has, that they need us more than we need them. We are their biggest customer. We suffer a bit without them. They die without us.

I know the bailout is to help farm families. That's socialism. As I stated a million times, just because they need help because of our president doesn't change the fact that it's a bailout.

Interesting. Would you say our current income tax structure is socialist in nature?

Of course. To some degree.  It's a redistribution of wealth. But normally people view socialism as the wealthy funding the needy. The way tax rates work and how billionaires and businesses like Amazon pay little or no taxes relative to the middle class, it's hardly something anyone of wealth should complain about.

I don’t complain, but it’s certainly a slippery slope.

Doubt you'd be saying that if Obama did it cost tax payers 25 billion dollars, but  you're certainly entitled to your opinion. But regardless of whether or not you feel the trade war is worth it, bailing out failing farmers is socialism. Textbook example.

Obama was a corporatist globalist, he would never have taken on China or Mexico on behalf of US workers. So was Romney, McCain, the Bushs, the Clintons etc.

Speaking for myself, this is the single biggest issue that allowed me to overlook his collective flaws and flipped me over to Trump. And it was courageous as we'd been told all our lives from eggspurts in both parties (who couldn't care less about US manufacturing and blue collar workers) that protectionism is bad. Turned out it lead to great prosperity, who's a thunk it? Trump did  He saw through the "Free Trade" lies and came out smelling like a rose with an economy stronger than ever.

Everything else after that was gravy.

Lead to great prosperity? It's cost us 25 billion dollars already. We haven't gotten $1 yet from his trade war. Not saying we won't in 10 years time, but it's all just back and forth bulshit at this point.  Trump has continued Obama's seven straight years of economic growth.  So I'll give him credit for not screwing that up.

If you want to see great prosperity, open your eyes. Unemployment way down, wages up. The tariffs raised the $25 billion in subsidies and the subsidies were needed to help the farmers while Trump  went to bat for the workers. 10,000 new factories were built in the country. Detroit got it's first new auto line in 25 years, then they a second one.

Let me tell you, where I'm from in Macomb County, Michigan, this is sweet music. I am out of my mind with joy. Macomb's a big county, we went for Obama twice, including over scumbag Romney who grew up next door in Oakland County. Macomb swung fifty thousand Obama votes over to Trump in a state Trump won by 10K.. And that was just on promises. it'll be even more this time seeing as how the President kept those promises. No doubt Ohio and Wisconsin are seeing the same results.

Scumbag Romney.  Oh God  You just showed me what a Trump rube you are. He became a scumbag two weeks ago for actually having the guts to go with his conscience instead of the cover up.  One single GOP senator with a spine and some ethics.

Romney has been a scumbag since his days as a vulture capatalist.  Some of us Trump supporters didn’t vote for him. Some of us voted for the other guy.

Were you not here nine years ago when I was calling him a scumbag alongside you? All that happened is that I never changed my mind on him.

Romney is part of the reason why I wasn't a Republican all those years, although a minor part. 99.999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% of the reason was George W. Bush.

Truth be told, I prefer Hillary over Romney just like I did Obama, in an election that was an easy decision.

Just trying to give you as posting tip. Your posts read like they were coming from a middle school kid.  Angry, juvenile-level name-calling (cross-eyed? Scrawny?). I have no problem with the temper tantrum. Just don't post like a teenager and call the one who got you all riled-up a 16 year-old. It makes you seem extremely non self-aware.  Feel free to inbox me for more posting tips. I'm sure you're not trying to come off as an adolescent.  👍

Keep trying nancy.

Romney was the last presidential nominee of the Republican party before Trump. Now the party wants to distance itself from him, just like they did McCain. Because to support a racist, lying POS, you have to try to discredit the few guys left who still have some devency, integrity, and morals.  Because those are the only ones who will speak out against the criminal.

Seriously, feel free to explain how Romney went from being the number 1 guy in the party to an outcast.  He hadn't changed.

We’re distancing ourselves from a lot of the country club republicans. Heard from Paul Ryan lately? Floyd Flake? How about Eric Cantor? You guys are just mad because Trump supporters are  the real revolution. With or without him. You keep on voting straight dem. And wonder why it will never change. Unless you think there doesn’t need any changing. The Squad will lead the march I guess. lol.

Rashida Tlaib is hideously ugly. Generally, I support Muslim women's decision not to wear a veil or hijab but in her case, I wish she would reconsider. By way of comparison, Amy Klobuchar is significantly less unattractive. Considering that she's 59, it may even be that at one point, she may have been halfway decent.

I remember how we use to agree on Romney and how I use to be with you in getting attacked from the right wing posters here over thinking what a POS he was. My opinion on Romney is nothing new with me. Fock that guy. I voted for Obama even though I didn't particularly like him because I wanted nothing to do with Romney. If either of us have changed opinions on this turd in the last two weeks, it's you.
