Trump tells 'Crazy Bernie' Sanders: 'don't let them take it away from you!'

He also wasnt running against a socialist. He was running against the hand picked, lead pipe lock Dem candidate.  With that being said, its way to early to debate this.  We are a long, long way from feeling the Bern in the general.

I was just watching MSNBC and the president of @votolatino was describing how the Latino vote is different in FL with all the Cuban americans. Shes saying that shes sees NO (as in zilch/zero) pathway for Bernie to win Florida because he will need Cuban Americans.  And quoting her... "Im 125,000% sure he wont win the WH without FL."  Dems are looking at 2024.  Theyre just letting the old man have his shot now so he wont muddy the waters if hes still alive in 2024.

This is 2012 all over again.

Republicans knew that had zero chance of beating Obama so they pretended to run Mittens, who quit the focking race in October.

Dems are just letting the insane socialist wing of the party "get their shot" knowing full well none of them will beat Trump.

I’d give him a puncher’s chance, maybe 25%. Bernie calls himself a socialist and he’s still leading. His best shot is to expose Trump for the crony capitalist he is.

It doesn't even matter if Trump is a "crony capitalist".  Even if you thought EVERYTHING ELSE he did was bad, he just has to point to his record on judicial appointments and he will win.

I doubt anybody but committed partisans care much about judicial appointments.

You're wrong.  Not something that gets talked about much but when people are made aware that what Trump is doing will shape their lives for decades, more than any legislation is going to, they care.

I’m not buying it. My guess is the kind of people who care strongly about judicial appointees are already locked into their pick in 2020. Unless we’re talking about the SCOTUS the issue gets almost no airtime.

If Trump gets reelected there's  a good chance he gets to put in another SCOTUS justice as well.

Sure but they haven't demonstrated a viable candidate yet.  Hitlery will save the day as she always does I'm sure.

I love how it’s ALWAYS Russia. Dems already found their scapegoat for when they lose. Kind of ironic this happens right after Bloomberg got destroyed in the first debate. Dems seemed to want to back him and then that happens so now they have to pull out ol reliable: blame Russia. Anyone ever notice it’s NEVER their fault. It’s always someone else that’s to blame

Dems will probably lose. It won’t be because of Trump’s record of judicial appointees.

But...but....but....Clinton admitted to having sex with that woman after he lied under oath. So he's forgiven.

I actually heard that argument on liberal radio a week or so ago. Trump should at least admit to his wrong doing like bill clinton did.

Just wait, when Trump is out of office the left will be blaming him for years.

Lol. It's like there's a distinct pattern. Someone posts something that opposed the Fox News narrative. The Trumptards post a few times hoping the person joins their cult. When it doesn't happen and they're losing the argument, tell them they're a troll or that you knew you were wasting your time talking to them. Yawn

I’m saying if Bernie wins PA and OH he only needs to win one of MI, WI or IN. Trump only won PA, WI and MI by 70,000 total votes. He’s not a lock to hold any of those states in 2020.

Bernie is anti-fracking which would hurt in western PA.

He has a better shot in Michigan than other Dems. I know that state better than any other and think his message plays well there with genuine working class appeal. Buden and Buttigeig know the words too but one is senile, corrupt and a globalist insider, the other is an empty suit manufactured in a lab and full of platitudes. Warren it too woke and a fake panderer. Now, Klobuchar is another who could get Michigan done.

It's still uphill though.  Trump knows how to sell himself to Michigan voters and now Trump has results/actions to back him up whereas all he could do last time was offer promises.

Trump could also easily flip some Hillary states. New Hampshire, Virginia, Minnesota, and Colorado come to mind.

I remember a few years ago I was laughed at at FBG for suggesting the Great Lakes region was gonna flip from blue to red.  Now here we are, talking about which dem has the best shot at turning Michigan blue.

If Bernie is the eventual nominee, Trump will win 47-49 states. Folks aren’t voting for an 80 year old socialist with a heart condition and hygiene issues. Guy is 10 pounds of crap in a 5 pound sack. He was kicked out of a hippie commune for being too lazy. You can’t make this up.

I thought it would be too much sugar overload goodness/hilarity to be blessed with another Iowa fiasco but Nevada is at least 1/3 of the way there. 24 hours later and the results are stuck at 60%... still enough room to give the Pet my Butt team a chance to rig the other 40% yet. Hopefully official results are delayed another few days.

Kevin McCarthy has a great take I'd not considered before ... "imagine Bernie's cabinet: AOC, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib"

What a winning observation!

Hopefully the Trump campaign picks up on that angle since Bernie has willingly tied himself to the squad. With Bernie at the top of the ticket, they can tie all Democrats to the Squad and throw the entire party overboard.

You think unionized workers in Michigan  with health plans they have negotiated for over the years are going to vote for a guy who wants to get rid of them and raise their taxes to pay for Medicare for all? A worse health plan for more money? Thats kitchen table economics and it won’t play. And let’s not forget that  in addition, illegals will be entitled to the same health insurance, to go along with a defacto open border. This shite ain’t gonna walk come Election Day.

I agree with you and found that Matt Walsh does too. Bernie has assets that the insider corporte establishment media and Dems still don't recognize.  Biden in an insider who inspires no enthusiasm. Dems that want him because they think he can beat Trump are delusional. Bloomberg is trying to buy enthusiasm, it's like fake, piped in arena noise. No enthusiasm. I think people stay home.

As Matt points out, Bernie has three things going for him that Trump did as well.... hardcore support of a fanbase, an unpopular opponent, and can generate moral outrage.

You mean one who has cut their taxes? One who has worked hard to to keep their jobs in the US by reducing crippling regulations and cutting corporate taxes for their employers? One who tries to protect their construction jobs from being taken by cheap illegal labor?   One who works to improve trade deals to create/retain American jobs?  One who told their employer that if they moved their jobs overseas he would impose tariffs on their products when they tried bringing them back to the US to sell?  Yea probably.  Wouldn't you?

I won't get into policy or how much success he's had with them, but you did prove my point.  Someone said there's no way people will vote for an 80 year old with a heart condition and hygiene issues.  If that 80 year-old promises the policies they want to hear they will
