NFL's biggest cheaters

Recommended Posts

I'm not surprised to see the top 3 to include the teams that Peyton Manning played for.

Cheaters

If the Jets are the second biggest cheaters in the NFL, they aren't cheating well enough...

I'll say.  They are #1 and no one else is even close.  They just got busted again this past season.

Was thinking people were gonna say this. Only because they can’t grasp that other teams are bigger cheaters but aren’t as good as the Pats. So it’s a nonissue

So... you are saying that the Pats would win if they measured "cheating efficiency"?

"As good"?  They are constantly getting caught. They suck at it

I think he means the team as a talent, not the ability to stealthly cheat.

You know what, let's say you're right.  If that's the case, don't you think that what the Patriots did warrant a much higher position in the rankings, especially since that the Patriots also did what everyone else did on the other forms of cheating?

I read the Giants summary and some of these are pretty stupid.  The one that I liked is that Lawrence Taylor would routinely hire escorts and send them to the opposing running backs the night before a game, in order to tire out their legs.

That is just brilliant and I’m sure the running backs were okay with it.

It has them ranked literally by how many offenses they’ve had. I understand if you hate the Pats and want to see them go down in flames. But you have to look at it objectively (apparently hard for everyone here to do). And objectively, there’s tons of teams that cheat more than the pats. They just don’t have the success the pats have had. Hard to imagine the patriots cheating more during this dynasty than all the other teams have Their entire organizational careers

Yeah, and one of the Tampa one's, Brad Johnson scuffing the footballs for the Super Bowl... they literally state that Rich Gannon knew about it before the game.  How is it cheating if the other side knows about it?  Things like the Giants one you pointed, plus this one involving the Bucs, is just more proof that this site is driven by Patriots fans who are trying to justify the Patriots' cheating.

I don't hate the Patriots at all, I just call a spade a spade.

So what do you call the tons of other teams who’ve cheated more than them then?

Did you actually read any of those things?  Big Blue and I just pointed out 2 that were completely ridiculous.  Brad Johnson told Rich Gannon what he was going to do... IT SAYS IT IN THE LINK.  If Gannon had a problem with it, he'd have told the NFL.  Also, it's not cheating if both sides know what's happening.  Big Blue posted that in the Giants section, they're talking about LT paying escorts to hook up with the other players.  That's not cheating.

And where did you comment on all this? Cause it wasn’t in this thread. Either way, you sound like you’re trying to make excuses for cheating. Which is ok as long as it’s not for the Patriots right? I’m not worried though. You can do what you want. I don’t wanna sit here and argue about stupid stuff

VICTIM: New York Jets (and Roger Goodell's ego)

Seriously?  Those are the only 2 victims?  C'mon.

I told you I really don’t want to deal with this anymore cause I legit don’t care. Peoples minds aren’t going to be changed so why bother? Not trying to be a d1ck. I just vowed to not waste time on things like this anymore

I said it was in the link (from the OP).  Read the accusations.  In the Tampa one... directly from the site:

Quote

PUNISHMENT: Although Raiders QB Rich Gannon threw five interceptions in the loss, he was allegedly informed by Johnson about the planned ball manipulation.

It's not cheating if the other team knows about it.

And then this comment (a continuation of the previous one):

Quote

It doesn't matter much, though, because the NFL wouldn't really care about teams manipulating footballs until 12 years later. Nonetheless, what Johnson confessed to was not legal.

Clearly, it's agenda driven.

Bro I don’t want to keep looking into it is what I’m saying. I’ve got other stuff to do than worry about this. I’d rather just agree with you and move on

I have no issue with the Patriots cheating. Never affected the Giants. Quite the contrary. Lol.

Pats fans want everyone to forget that they cheated.  Multiple times. Just like Saints fans want you to forget about Bountygate and purposely trying to injure players. And when you bring it up, they blame Goodell instead of the team. This is just a continuation.

1)  We're #1!!!  We're #1!!!!

2)  They gave 3 times the normal points for an infraction that has never been proven?  That doesn't help the credibility of the article.

So I'm a little torn.   It's great being the best at something but if the scoring isn't accurate I'm not sure I can call it a win.

It's complete bull crap.  It's not a coincidence that the top 4 teams are either a division opponent (who told the NFL about the Patriot's spying), and the Patriots 3 biggest opponents over the last 20 years.  Zero credibility.

It was a pats fan that made it... and used completely arbitrary scoring to make other teams look worse.  Pats even cheat about cheating.

This is dumb. It’s basically who has had the most ped violations

the Chargers two things outside of that was steroid gate in 1963 before they were even in the NFL and towel gate which was a trainer bringing an extra towel onto the field during a timeout. They were fined 20 for violation and appealed it and won. That’s not cheating

i might listen to an argument about the Pats not being number 1. But 14??? Cmon

The Chargers cheated their fans out of a HOF qb when they traded Eli.
