If you have never been in a dynasty league an orphan team is a great way to try it out, Dynasty leagues are much more active than redraft leagues and imo, much more fun as the league is active all year round with trading going on from February all the way till November plus trading from the end of the regular season until the end of the playoffs and they have the added benefit of the previous owner paying the deposit which makes the teams half price compared to a fresh team.
