Panthers sign WR Robby Anderson

Recommended Posts

That's a lot of money for him.  I'm surprised he got that much.  I'd have thought a 3 year deal at $21M is what he'd get.  Good for him.  Kind of a waste of resources considering his best aspect contradicts what their new QB can do.

Yeah, my mind went straight there. Anderson's best at stretching the field. Teddy's not exactly the strong arm type. Gotta view this as a hit to his fantasy value.

... and to Samuel, as Mike mentioned originally.  I'd think this only helps Moore, as Anderson on the field could draw coverage.

Yeah I'm not sure this is great for any of the WRs.   Cluster F

Strange signing for Carolina IMO.   Didn't really seem like a need

Must be a concern of the development of C Samuel.

Dj Moore is a lock at their wr1.

I don't think it hurts Moore. Maybe even helps a bit.

Rhule is familiar with Robby from his Temple days.  Robby is a one-trick pony and is mediocre to poor at snagging jump balls.  Makes no sense for Carolina with Teddy Bridgewater when you already have guys like Samuel.  I'll bet 9 out of 10 Jets fans would gladly replace Robby with a guy like Samuel.
