Per request, as I am not much a fan of Aerosmith.  That said, they are one of the all time great American bands.  Left out the ones where Joe Perry was absent, and Done with Mirrors, cause while there is a good song here and there, they are not very good albums.  Toys in the Attic for me.

"Comeback Aerosmith" has ruined 70's Aerosmith for me. The "newer" stuff is unlistenable to me.

They were my favorite band for about a year during "Toys in the Attic"......but about '78 I saw them live in Cleveland and they sucked, STYX was opener and blew them away.

Chose Pump. It was great, and always reminds of a great time of life. My brothers and I would blast that thing in my house.

'78 would've been when they were still heavy into the drugs,I remember that Live Bootleg album they did and not liking it at all. That said,be it the drugs or whatever their 70's  studio releases IMO all deserve mention at the top of rock greatness.

Not a huge Aerosmith fan, but I definitely prefer their 70s offerings.  Went with Toys in the Attic.  I had their greatest hits album way back when and favorite song was Back in the Saddle from Rocks.

I'm assuming with 6 votes to its credit Walk This Way and Sweet Emotion are driving the vote.

I'd agree

Of course.

I've always said the original 1975 was the first ever rap song.

I'd say it varies by opinion.Rapture was 1980 WTW was '75 and IMO this was a rap...

Now there's a backseat, lover
That's always undercover
And I talk 'til my daddy say
Said you ain't seen, nothin'
Til you're down on the muffin
And there's sure to be a change in ways
Now there's a cheer, leader
That's a real big, pleaser
As far as I can reminisce
But the best thing, love it
Was her sister and her, cousin
And it started with a little kiss, like this
She starts, swingin'
With the boys in, tune
And her feet just fly up in the air
Singin' hey diddle diddle with a kitty in the middle
And they swingin' like it just don't care
So I took a big, chance
At the high school, dance
With a lady who was ready to play
It wasn't me she was, foolin
'Cause she knew what was she was, doin'
When she told me how to walk this way
She told me to
Walk this way!
Talk this

@Herbivorethanks for doing these poles.

Might I suggest Queen and TOOL for upcoming polls?

Cheers.  Like to have something lighter on the front page, and talking music.  will do...didn't think about Queen at all.
