Time to get the Led out.  I'll go with Houses of the Holy.  The first 6 are pretty much flawless.

Really, really hard to decide but I went with II.  Houses of the Holy was my other choice.

10 years gone with Kashmir put this at the top for me, plus the fact that its a double album, although there are a few duds

I'm glad I don't have to choose now and can just download all my favorites.

Way too hard but went with Presence because Nobody's Fault By Mine and Achille's Last Stand are two of my favorites.

Interesting, I'll have to listen to those.  I probably know them but they aren't ringing a bell.

Went with IV which is probably the non-hipster, commercial choice.

I picked 4 but "Houses" was a close 2nd for me.

I don't look at any of them as a perfect record, but then again I'm not a fan of the blues, even if it's British.

If I cherry picked them all I could come up with a double album that I'd really love.

This was the first Led Zeppelin CD I bought and listened to it a lot when driving.  I was in high school in the 90s.

Very underrated album. Achilles Last Stand is their best tune, IMO.

I voted for Physical Graffiti.  Second would be I.  Third would be Presence, but I find you have to be in the right mood for that one because there is an overall air of despair to that album.

What about the Box Set??

This is another tough one.  Going with III primarily because of Immigrant Song and Gallows Pole.

Speaking of Immigrant Song, I was all set to see this band a couple of weeks ago before it got cancelled due to covid :(.  Would've been a fun (and cheap) show.

Weird thing about Zep, is that many have their songs don't have the lyrics in said song of the title.

Also, Coda and In Through the Out Door were turrible compared to the rest, imo.

For myself, not so much. Then again, musical tastes are all subjective.

I found it interesting that Plant had to sing all his vocals from a wheelchair because he was recuperating from a car wreck.

The recording sessions for

Presence were also particularly challenging for Plant. The studio was in a basement of an old hotel, and the singer felt claustrophobic. He also experienced physical difficulties as a result of his car accident, and missed his family. He later said he was upset about Page and manager Peter Grant booking the Presence sessions and began to re-evaluate the priorities in his life.[11]

Interesting.  I think Plant sounds pretty good on that album.  Maybe it's a mix of his anxiety and Page's heroin addiction that gives that album such a strange feel.
