More Trump Confusion

Recommended Posts

I had read all weekend about how TERRIBLE it was that Trump sent necessary medical supplies to China.

Now this

https://www.detroitnews.com/story/news/nation/2020/04/05/canada-premier-questions-trump-humanity-mask-export-ban/111521632/

There is a liberal / media insanity that is just beyond anything I have ever seen at this point.  No one better say anything about "well Canadians are our friends" because that's racist so don't even go there.

I honestly feel bad for Trump sometimes.  As much of a dingus he can be, the guy simply can't win.  Ever.  Maybe he created some of this himself with how much of a d!ck hes always been with the media and he should have known this is how they would react.  But wow.

So what exactly is the big liberal media side of this? Seems like an article covering Canadians reaction. Is it some big liberal scheme to Eve print such a story?

Yeah.  It's yet another article to show how Trump is bad.  To continue to paint him in a bad light, no matter what he does.  If you don't see that you don't know the media

Its a form of lying called half-truths.  You can report every tiny detail about a guy if it can be spun as bad news, and simply ignore anything that is good news.  Then when criticized on that front, the peanut gallery will say something like what you just said.

This works both ways. One side can't see when Trump does something good, the other side can't see when Trump does something bad.

Meanwhile, those that just want the country to run well and be successful are stuck in the middle seat, listening to the bitching in stereo.

I miss the bu...but.b.b.but Obama years.  How quickly hypocrites forget.

Also, partisan bs like this has been going on since the 1700's .

Cucks gonna cuck I suppose. Poor Trump

I've been laying off of the progressive radio for a while cause they make me ill with 24x7 Trump bashing. But I tuned in yesterday for a few minutes and sure enough, Trump does everything wrong across the board as he is evil and stupid and a xenophobe and racist and a misogynist and a liar and a bad man and a terrible president and he is solely to blame for this pandemic and he's orange and he is a fascist  and he wants to rule the nation as a dictator and is a terrible business man and his wife and kids are all idiots and stupid and instead of helping America in this time of need he is playing golf and vacationing and he hates gay people and transvestites and he only cares about money and he doesn't care about people, and he smells and picks his nose and leaves the door open when he goes to the bathroom and he is going to die because his health is terrible and he hates children and he has bad taste in fashion and he wants all illegals to leave the country and die in Mexico or somewhere else and he uses too much energy in the White House and he eats beef too often and he wants global warfare and his wife is wh0re a and he is sick and wants people to die that don't agree with him and he overcooks his pasta and he talks too much and he talks too little and he should be impeached.

This is the narrative of the left in this country. They never come up with ideas other than we should all be for socialism. Because somehow, that is going to fix everything. Big government and dependency on that government for all except those in the government. Those people just get whatever they want in life.

To be fair, he didnt start out being a d!ck to them. They earned his disdain fair and square.

That's one more thing he and newbie have in common. They're both counter-punchers.

So much this.

Sometimes I agree with Trump, other times I don't. But the your side vs my side hackery is ridiculous.

The sad thing is these Trump bashing articles are debunked on a daily basis and never a correction needed because they are already on to the next one. A constant flow of fake news.

Nailed it. I see the bad and the good from Trump. I also see the bad and the worse from the media

I thought this is what the people in the middle seat *wanted*.  They wanted a democrat house to counter Trump's presidency.  Now they have exactly what they voted for.  Constant, nonstop bickering in Washington.   If you actually picked a side instead of sitting in the middle seat, you wouldn't have bitching in stereo.

Hearing chants, "One of us, one of us".

There is a large percentage of people in this country that just don't align with either side. It isn't all or nothing. That's what leads to extremism by both sides.

I would remind you to watch the very first White House press briefing. You know the one where Sean Spicer tried to be all tough guy and just flat-out lied about Trump's attendance numbers at the inauguration? I mean, talk about your bad starts...

1. Really? That's how you come out of the gate?

2. Who needs that kind of ego stroke? Ohyeah, Trump. Constantly.

3. it kind of went downhill from there. Until he canceled the White House press briefings entirely. Until he could come back and be the star.

That doesn't make a scrap of difference.  As I've said before, the overwhelming majority in the colonies didn't want the revolutionary war either.  The reality is, if you get somewhere around 25% of the public supporting a revolt, you get a revolt.

Today in America, you have the democrats who seek 51% support from Americans.  They believe if they get that, they win.  Meanwhile, the alt right seeks to get 25% of Americans to revolt.  If they get that, they win.  They can actually both hit their targets at the same time.

Sorry. Not everything is revolt or civil war. You're in a very small minority when you think this. Most Americans want the same things. It's the hot button issues like immigration, abortion, 2nd Amendment and taxes where the divide occurs. If you could find a way to step back and be an impartial observer, you'd see that many are looking for ways to increase that divide.

For you, it's a self fulfilling prophecy.

Exactly!

We also have ways to get issues on a ballot. We don't restrict 95% of the population from running for office. If people aren't willing to vote in a general election, I doubt they are going to revolt in any manner that doesn't involve complaining about the other side on social media.

I focking hate Trump.  He's a horrible person.  He has trouble forming complete, coherent sentences.  His vocabulary is extremely limited for someone in his position.  He's confrontational and combative.  There is little to like about his public persona.  That said, specifically what has he done that is "bad."  When I look at the policies of a number of previous administrations, of both parties, those policies don't represent my values.  Many of the policies he's implemented or pushes but can't get implemented due to "the swamp" are much more representative of my values.  I suspect that's where a lot of people are.  So, please outline what policies he's implemented that are "bad."

Right.  I think many likely go into it with the best intentions but have to succumb to the poison eventually....and then you get the Pelosi's, Schiffs, McConnells and others....

After Russia, Kavanaugh, Ukraine, Impeachment and most recently the Covid-19 relief bill debacle, I like Trump (or dislike Democrats) 100x more now than when I voted for him.

Why do you "focking hate" Trump? The descriptions you gave are more of why you would hate an actor, singer, or comedian. Not why you would hate a politician.

I'll wait for you to answer my questions.  Why I hate Trump shouldn't matter.  I only mentioned it to show that I'm no Trump lover.  Dude is not qualified to be President.  Didn't vote for him.  Think he's a doosh.  Now answer the question.

Not sure what you're looking for? I didn't vote for him. I also didn't vote for Hillary. I didn't think either was good for the country.

I was for Trump's approach to trade with China, but I don't think we've made the gains that were hoped for. Using his words, the cure shouldn't be worse than the virus. (tariffs hurt us more than China)

The virus will end up doing more for bringing production back to the U.S. than anything Trump has done.

I'd also like to know when Mexico is going to pay for the wall?

Gotcha.  So you can't point to anything specific Trump has done that was bad.   If you can't, why should Trump supporters?

I gave you two.

When does Mexico pay for the wall?

What did we get out of the tariff war with China? (besides Covid-19, perhaps)

These are your definition's of "bad"?  The first one isn't even worth responding to.  Because who gives a sh*t?  The 2nd one is a policy.  If your opinion is that it's bad policy that's fine.  I'm pretty sure anyone who considers themself a Trump supporter would say they think it's a good policy and we should have done it sooner.  I was really looking for something that could be more universally considered "bad"  when made the following comment:

One side can't see when Trump does something good, the other side can't see when Trump does something bad.

Hillary was no retard. She wanted the job to line her and Bill's pockets even more, expand globalization and the progressive order. Progressives are not Democrats.  They are dangerous.

If I had voted for Trump, one of the reasons would have been because of his stance on immigrants coming across our southern border unchecked. Building a wall seems like a solution that would force them to come through entry points. The same way you and I go through entry points at football game, airports, etc. A person with an average number of brain cells would have wondered how he would get the funding with "the swamp" still in place. But then he said that Mexico would pay for it. That was a huge part of his platform/policy that he ran on. It may not have been a bad policy, but it was a failure on Trumps part. He either lied or was too ignorant to know it was never going to happen.

No, it wasn't.  The wall was.  No one who supports a wall cares whether we pay for it or Mexico does.  And who paid for it isn't why anyone would have voted for him.  Building it period would have been.
