So what’s your alcohol consumption like these days?

Recommended Posts

Up substantially.  Before this Corona mess I was not drinking during the week.  Without the daily commute I am working out about 4 times a week and walking most evenings.  However, when we are done walking we have drinks on the patio and then have wine with dinner.

I actually cut back during the week mainly because I don't have anyone visiting now.  Definitely been a good idea to dial it back.

None.  I remember before 9-11 I had stopped drinking and right after I used that as an excuse to restart.  I wish I hadn't.

It is up. I was doing good on cutting back prior to the start of stay at home, but now I am drinking every night. I need to cut back again.

People with young children shouldn’t be drinking at home all the time. Especially now. Don’t like it? TS. Do your job.

Didn't change for me.  I still have a couple drinks every day.

I was at 1-2. Lately it’s 3-4 light beers per night.

I am giving up drinking for a month.

Wait, I missed some punctuation.

I am giving up. Drinking for a month.

As a functioning alcoholic for 20+ years... nothing has changed.

What is your timeframe before the shakes kick in?  What do you use to make them subside?

Ive been growing up a bit drinking wise the last 3 or 4 years.

This put a giant wrench in those plans.

I don't know a couple with young kids who doesn't drink at all. Kids are all fine. These are all pretty good parents at the least. As long as people aren't getting hammered before the kids go to bed on a nightly basis, I don't see why having a few is an issue.

I have a few and I play with my son just as much, and we do the same things as when I don't have any drinks.

I had mentioned earlier that I was giving it up for lent; well, that didn't exactly work out, but I did stop drinking every day.  Weekends and maybe one other night a week.  And I'm drinking less each night.

Just not a good time for it.  It doesn’t need an explanation.

It's definitely not a question of if I'm going to have a beer, but rather when is an acceptable time to start.  Today's answer is 2:30.

This time is subject to change without notice.
