Voltaire 4,554 Posted May 14, 2020 I hope you're doing well, but that's for another thread. Montana Brady Favre P.Manning (barely ahead of Steve Young and maybe only because I don't want two 49ers)

KSB2424 3,082 Posted May 14, 2020 What is wrong with you nerds? If we are talking 80's and up....which is sort of what the OP inferred with era's. Brady, Montana, Manning are shoe in's, no discussion, anybody that says otherwise knows nothing about football. The 4th spot is up for grabs. In no order, Bree's, Elway, Rodgers, Marino, Favre, Young What it aint is Big Ben, he's maybe top ten, just ahead of Eli and Rivers.

The Rushmore top 3 etched in stone is Brady, Montana, Manning. Spot 4 is very much up for debate. Brees is a consideration lately given he has a ring and all the records. Flutie might make that list too from like 1 start in the late 80s, no joke. The funny part about making this list will be that McMahon wasn’t even good. What's amazing is that at least 1 of these 3 QBs have played in parts of the 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, 10s and 20s. 6 decades for 3 QBs. You could even eliminate Manning and STILL just Brady and Montana cover those 6 decades without him.

The ring in Denver was won by the defense, not his noodle arm. The lone SB in Indy I would say was won by the Colts despite Manning's effort to piss that one away as well. He does when you take his whole career and grade by wins, stats, achievements, rings, impact, legacy. Without those rings he’s on the outside looking in like Marino should be. With them, doesn’t matter the Who when how and why, he got them. He got it done, twice.
