Voltaire 4,556 Posted May 21, 2020 I wasn't a fan. My army roommate that liked the Smiths (not a fan of them either) liked this group too. Not as bad as I remember them to be. There was one decent song in his entire collection, I think this chick sang it, about being pregnant called "Eat for Two."

DonS 3,067 Posted May 21, 2020 Not hot, but great singer.
Bill E. 666 Posted May 21, 2020 She is out there but probably my favorite female vocalist. I worked in Jamestown NY in the late 80's when the Maniacs were getting big. I saw them when they returned a couple times and Natalie years later in Chautauqua NY. I've seen 10000 Maniacs several times after she left and Mary Ramsey who replaced Natalie is very good as well. A couple of her best. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UbnOdEA2XPg

Hardcore troubadour 12,627 Posted May 21, 2020 Late 80’s saw REM at Duke University. 10k maniacs opened for them. Little did I know how I would grow to despise the people there.

River Motherland Life is Sweet Break Your Heart Seven Years All beautiful songs.

I'd venture to guess that Tori had at least one, too. Although this one may be more about adult-style abuse. Who cares, she was hot as heck in the 90s.
