So I ruffled some feathers on facebook....

So I typed this last night.... but left it open and didn't hit "submit topic"  (just posted on FFtoday now)

I get sick of folks that can't handle what they attempt to dish out.   So for a couple people, I duplicated what they did, to see what their/public reaction would be.

Someone posted on FB that they hoped Orange Faced Trump died of something or other (mentioned overdose of hydroxyqulorine) on the 14th hole (it was a Trump golfing topic on local news channel facebook feed).

I then wrote back, and said "I hope the fat lady next to you in your profile pic (it was his wife) dies in a car accident at the intersection of 45th and 32nd (an actual high-speed intersection in the city they live"

I got all kinds of people blowing up at me, including the guy , calling me a loser, saying its sad that someone would say such a thing...saying "spoken of a true Trumper"....etc...  SOME of which replied back to his Trump comment earlier and agreed and thought it was funny.  Wait. What?  Typical of Trumper ?  I only did what they other guy did.  Exact same.   

I replied to the guy  going off on me "You can't handle the EXACT same thing you did done back to you.  You whine like a helpless little baby in front of everyone and you made yourself and the entire side you stand for look like a monkey's arse"

So, I used : 1. an adjective 2. a person  3. a location 5. a method.  EXACT same as what they did.  Libs couldn't handle it.

Just now...a guy writes something about "Lets just pray Trump doesn't hurt your feelings too bad....."        

A lady (who always is writing anti-Trump stuff) writes back "I've been praying for him.  I won't say what I've been praying for, but I've definitely been praying  for him"

I replied to here on that particular facebook post and to her on here personal page, (she allows comments), under a picture she has of her best friend and co-working on a ventilator.

"I've been praying for her.

I won't say what I've been praying for, but know I've been praying for her."

So, I wrote the EXACT  thing she wrote, just replaced "him" with "her" .

And...I assume I'll be reported and chastised.   Possibly banned.

I get what you did but not worth it imo.  First why stoop to their level?  It was pretty harsh.  Second they they will go around and tell everyone they know that some Trumper prayed that his wife died.  They will not tell people that they did it first. 

Also how do you know they deleted the post if they blocked you?  You would no longer see anything they posted.

The "stooping to their level thing" in this instance...I was okay with.  I get your point though.  I thought about it as I posted  it.  That's what the entire Trump/anti-Trump, argument is these days.  No one is rewarded for "being civilized" and 90% stoop to the other's side. 

I'm not a regular FB'er...but...here is why I think they blocked and deleted...in the area where it shows my activity log it says "You replied to so and so's comment" and usually your replies are there.  It still says that I replied, but there is no comment.  And when I click it to see where it takes me, it goes no where.   So this is why assume they deleted -- I should still be able to see my comment, right? Anyway its gone. 

And when I attempt to search their name, to go their facebook page, their names do not even show up in the search (last night they did)

Agreed.   My facebook screen time in the past 30 days was 7 minutes.   I have a "personal" fb account....ONLY because FB made me do it in order to have  business one.  When you sign up for a business one, you have to link to a personal one...which I didn't have.   Oh...and I don't manage the business one.  Some company does that.

It can be fun to point out the hypocrisy that is now THE most prominent behavior of liberals.  But it can lead to some severing of connections, and that too is bad.  It feeds into the absolutism of liberal logic.  Liberals have that "you are either with me or against me" view that is really sick and pretty scary stuff.  It might be of value to attempt to keep the conversation going.

It must be more than that.  When they use tactics to take over the entire education system and fill it with lies and ban you from saying a word in an official capacity, you've had freedom of speech taken away.

That's why my username is under a generic name. Sort of like on here.  My name (on FB) is a character from Blacklist. 

I can' t keep the conversation going.   Its gone.  I think they BOTH must have came to the conclusion that deleting just made it all go away, because that they knew everyone else could see the order of events and what they had posted initially.    Them writing "you dumbass/meanie/etc" and  then them looking and seeing its the same thing they did...made them realize...arguing against it...well...just...yeah. Deleting was their best option, I assume. 

 

Here it is in nutshell: 

Them: I wish Joe would die.
Me: I wish your fat wife would die.

Them: WHAT!?? You loser punk,  Trumptard,  How dare you say that you wished my fat wife would die! blah blah...

I sell a lot through Facebook.  Sometimes people jump on my sale and say things like "These are fake"  I just block them and they can no longer see any of my posts or any response anyone else has made.  Their post goes away so no body can see it so I would not expect your post to be there because you were blocked.   I seem to remember I can not see theirs either.  so it is probable that they are writing "you dumbass/meanie/etc" still and you just can not see it.
