Trump's Social Media Executive Order

So then, what's the problem when they decide to NOT publish something?

The problem for YOU is Trump can VERY effectively argue that Twitter does this to silence the people in favor of globalist leftist corporate interests which enables Trump (and republicans that come after him) to win elections.  It allows Trump to play the populist role.

Trump loves it.  Its not a problem for him.

It's not a problem since they want to go that route.

Where Twitter is going to have a problem is since they are a publisher they are responsible for everything published on their site. So when people post criminal activities like CP twitter is responsible for it. Right now, twitter is classified as a platform. Meaning they are not responsible for what people post.

The geek club is a platform for people to spew their thoughts. Mike is not responsible for what people post here. Like the dummy who threatened the President. That's against the law and the poster was "banned" for it and Mike suffered no consequences as far as I know because this is a platform even for the idiots.

On the flip side if Mike publishes an article on the FFToday site calling for the assassination of the president he is responsible for that article.

It's a fine line that IMO twitter has crossed when they started to edit and add to comments. They are no longer just providing the figurative platform, but acting as an editorial figure over published content.

Nancy Pelosi, master politician, lost the most seats in Congress in recent history as speaker of the house.

Like I’ve said before, they don’t get populism. Even though it got them Trump. This is a textbook populist move.

They are so dumb, I expect their next move is to insult the Great Lakes region and call them all rednecks and stupid morons, which will move them further into the GOP camp.

1.  The democrats used to hold the white house all the time AND a supermajority in congress in the 1930s and 40s.
2.  In the 50, 60, and 70s, the democrats started losing the white house but still held both houses of congress almost 100% of the time and often with supermajorities.
3.  In the 80s the democrats never held the white house, the democrats actually lose the senate for a little bit.  They still held both houses of congress but the supermajority was gone.
4.  In the 90s, the democrats actually LOST both houses of congress for the first time since the 20s.  Going forward, the GOP would hold congress most of the time.
5.  In 2001, we finally had a republican president and republican congress for the first time since the 20s.  Democrats totally shut out of power.
6.  In 2008, the public took ONE LAST LOOK at the democrats running the show, giving them congress and the white house.
7.  In 2010, the public disliked what they saw so they gave the GOP the house back.
8.  In 2014, the public gave the GOP the senate back.
9.  In 2016, the public kicked the democrats completely out of power again.

Today, the democrats hold a weak lead in the House.

This history is not a pendulum.  This is a WIPEOUT of the left.  The democrats have gone from controlling all of Washington with supermajorities to bragging they hold a minor lead in the House.

Oopsie daisy.  You forgot 2018.

LOL... Nailed it.

Here's the best part.  When Trump said "Make America Great Again", liberals were screaming from every roof top "When was it ever great?".  So they're saying America was never great, even though they've pretty much controlled the government from the 1930's.  I mean, how can you defend a party who has been in control for the majority of 90 years, who claim this country was never "great"?

Historically, what happened in 2018 has been consistent.  The one difference is that the Dems won less seats than the historic norm.  In 2020, expect Trump to be re-elected and the Republican's to take back the House and gain seats in the Senate.  Expect the country to thrive from 2020 to 2024.

Biggest change of seats in 40 years.  It was a blue wave and it was a direct reflection on Trump

Trump will get around to regulating Twitter, right after he throws Hillary in the slammer, strongarms Mexico into buying a border wall, pays off the federal debt and replaces Obunglercare with “something wonderful.”

Just you wait. :bandana:

For some of the idiots / mean people here, do yourself a favor and look up the difference between "Publisher"  vs "Platform"  as it relates to twitter.  ywia

You know this EO is meaningless right? I ask because you’re about 2x smarter than the typical slack jaw who supports this used car salesman.

We’ll see. I’ve been hoping there is some movement on a few lawsuits as well.

Dog and pony show.  Trump pretending he could tell Twitter to stop fact checking his lies.  Not a thing.

It removed legal protections from social media companies.

So, yeah, that's a problem for them now that they'll be held legally responsible for the content that is posted on their site(s).

That's no dog and pony show that the boot licker you responded to suggests.
