I agree with you on that.  The thing is, those players travel to other towns.  They will come in contact with citizen's, it's impossible for them not to.  If there's a group of citizen's that have contact with NFL, visiting players, that contract the virus and it causes a hot spot, don't be surprised if the Governor has a sh!t fit and there will be a change.

Pretty much zero chance of that.  If so many players on a team are contagious that it would cause a "hot spot" in a town where they have fleeting contact with the populace, they are much more likely to cause a "hot spot" in their own home town, where they live with their families and mingle with friends.

Sounds like you have it all figured out then.  Glad to hear it.

Pretty much.  That's what makes Axe Elf such a valuable commodity in virtually any situation.

Yeah, no chance this can't happen to the NFL...

Well, axually there IS a chance that won't happen in the NFL, but I agree that there's a chance that something like could happen, too (even though it's different from what we had been previously discussing).

That's why I'm kind of staying away from FF this year; too many random COVID factors turning a game of skill into a game of luck.

It's not different... it's exactly what we were discussing.  Players who have the virus coming into the venue.  That's exactly what the Marlins did.  There's a legitimate chance that the MLB season is now over.  They're having an emergency meeting about it right now.

We had been discussing the possibility of a visiting team causing a "hot spot" of new infections among the populace of the host city, not the possibility of "hot spots" developing within a team.

True or False...

A visiting team can come to town, with infected players.  Those players can infect their opponents.  Said opponents could go home to their family and can infect them.  Said family could then infect others they come in contact with.

True or False...

Opponents who have the virys could also infect venue personnel who can then take the virus home to their families and friends and infect them.

Assuming both are true (because they are), True or False...

This could create a hot spot.

All true... and all different from the situation in the article you posted, where a significant portion of one team tested positive.
