BLM mural in California was “vandalized” during the 4th of July. Two white people painted over it with black paint. 
 

Now the BLM supporters want them arrested. Which is ironic since they:

1: vandalize every statue of a white person it seems

and 

2: they want the police defunded

The artists had a permit for the mural.  It was perfectly legal.  Painting over it was the crime.  Charging them with a hate crime is extreme.  They should get charged with vandalism.

No, I think actually we are supposed to pretend that magically the police have acquired a centralized intelligence and systemically treat black people differently, when the reality is actually the opposite.

Black people treat cops differently than white people, and when they behave badly are held accountable, and accountability is a tough pill to swallow, and AA's do not care for it, want to pretend that events from 100 years ago or more somehow matter today in terms of opportunity and outcomes.

Its a political game, pretend and pretend as much as possible, never deal with the actual problems......

The rules were thrown out of the window weeks ago when the blm were rioting in the streets and tearing businesses down across the country.

We are talking about somebody who painted a few letters on the street and somebody doesn't like it so they peacefully respond in their own way and paint over the graffiti. Fvck enforcing that bullshlt.

I understand.  But once you stoop to their level, they'll use it against you.  Take the high road.  @nobody is right.  Those people, while they are morons, had the right to paint the road because they got the proper permits.  Painting over it is vandalism... and that's all it is.  If you stand by your morals and say "yes, that's vandalism and they should pay the price of vandalism", then you're on the right side.  Be the adult when they are acting like children.  Don't act like a child like them.  That's all I'm saying.

 

I also agree with the OP, with the irony.

The same type of people who want to defund the police and tear down monuments, quickly turned 180 and wanted the police called because someone tore down a monument (so to speak).

I disagree at this point. There is no high road that can be taken when this country is being torn apart by extremist terrorism and the democrats support it to the point of changing the rule of law. Statues being defaced. Businesses being destroyed, people being killed, city blocks and highways and streets being taken over are not ok with me as all the rioters are getting away with it. When the local governments tell the police to stand down and allow all the shlt  to happen, it's time to fight back. And the government should realize that. Just as much as they support this violent behavior of the left.
