I liked the wonder years, I suspect I will like the reboot as well, but if it spends too much time whining I might turn it off....that was the thing I disliked about the original, there was a fair amount of whining...

Did you read the article?  This series is going to be a woke piece of trash.  Interesting timing though.  I just d/l'ed the entire original series to watch as I never saw the entire thing, just episode here, episode there.....

A show like this could have had potential, but why does it have to be a reboot of a classic show?  Why not just make a show about a black kid growing up in the 60's?  That Chris Rock show was pretty decent and was along similar lines. 

Seems like Hollywood just can't get out of their own way anymore.

I actually thought the same thing.  I guess this is different in that it will be set in a different time period.
