Does anyone here have an interesting hobby?

Recommended Posts

And I don’t mean wasting your life on FFToday or jerking off.

I enjoy reading books and hiking but must admit those aren’t terribly interesting.

Several.  Don't post about them here because don't really wanna deal with some of the ridicule.  I've posted a little about my experience driving my sports cars on racetracks though.

Nothing terribly interesting.  I read a sh1t load of books and I have a pretty sizable vegetable garden (tomatoes, cucumbers, green beans, jalapeño peppers, squash and zucchini).

My other current hobby is trying to deal with my family while working at home.

I like to shoot. Cans, clays, photos.

I like to hike. When I do I like to incorporate the photo shoots.

I wish I had more time to fish.

I like to grow fruits & vegetables.

I love to make homemade pizza. I make the sauce and skins from scratch. I'd love to make my own cheese but I'm not there, yet.

There's a lot more...

Garden is interesting, I think. I’ve been wanting to get into that but I can’t even keep a house plant alive :(

It feels like a hobby but when I tell my wife I am diving for the 10th day in a row I call it work.  It is a lot of fun.  Got stung hard in the lip by a jellyfish today.  That was less fun.

I'll be honest. I started taking naps last year. It's a guilty pleasure now.

After diving I need one.  I just about blackout after lunch.  Nitrogen absorption is the excuse I use.

Physically or due to covid? Or something else?

Body hurts but I can still do both.

Time.... lucky if I can get to Lake Tahoe 2-3 times to ski.  Haven’t taken a warm water trip in a little bit. Were going to go over Christmas but we pushed it to summer... now who knows?

You can’t just go in cold for a kiss like that.  You gotta grab ‘em in the jelly pvssy first.

I take a half hour nap nearly every day.   At my age it’s almost a necessity.

Today’s schedule:

Up at 5:30

Football agility drills 6:30-8:00

Open showroom at 9:00

3 appointments before noon

lunch 12-1

Print labels and ship cards 1-2:00

2:00-2:30 nap

2:30-3  set lineup and confirm youth baseball game details for tonight

3-4:00  List cards and boxes for sale on eBay.   Place pre sale orders with suppliers

schedule installs for next week.

4-5:30 - cook dinner, serve and eat it

6:30-9 pm   Coach youth baseball game

10 pm - present - catch up on emails, FB posts, twatters, and this place

12:15 am   Go to sleep

I watch crime shows like Dateline for one minute. Get the name of the person who died and google them. Wait until my wife gets a big mouth of popcorn and tell her who did it. From there I practice my defensive martial arts.

Drinking, playing baseball, golfing. I wish I was musically inclined because I'd love to learn an instrument.  My baseball career is grinding to a halt as my body falls apart.

Ghost hunting. We rent hotel rooms that are reported to be haunted and go to other places that we shouldn't. Haven't done it in a while. Success in NOLA and St. Augustine. Most times nothing happens. It adds a little adventure to a trip.

Occasionally I'll golf or fish, but not enough anymore to call it an actual hobby.

Probably just my yearly vegetable garden. It's a pretty big one.Tomatoes, Cherry toms, Cucs, Squash, Zucchini, Beans, Peas, Broccoli. Almost every day i get home from work, and me and the dog grab a couple beers and putter around in it for an hour or so. I find it very relaxing. It's a great decompression for me.

Your dog drinks beer?  :o

That sounds like a hobby all to itself.  B)

Workout. Just finished remodeling my gym. Designed it to look like a commercial gym. I'd posts some pics if I could figure it out. It even has the metal round duct work like a real gym. Finished it right before the virus shutdown gyms. Perfect timing.

This guy I'm not to sure about. He's my third dog, and I'm trying to be steadfast this time with the table food, and extras. My second dog I had, Buddy. He was a 110 pound shepard/husky mix. That guy was a lush. If I left a beer hanging around, he'd purposely knock it over to lap it up. You had to watch that guy.

🐺
