I guess my bloodline being members of the Catholic Church goes back to when  Catholicism came to Ireland, in the fifth century,   both sides of my family. It stayed in my family through hundreds of years of war, a famine, and a trip across the Atlantic. It may have to end with me.

As far as I know. My parents were the first to come to this country, and as far as we can go back, we have been catholic, like all of the Irish. I assume my ancestors got turned by St . Patrick as well. The Irish were pagans until he got there, and  he flipped the whole country.  I can’t take the nonsense with the church anymore. We’ll see.

My church (United Methodist) is very progressive in some parts of the world and it doesn’t sit well with me.

Critical Race Theory is about delegitimizing America and sh*tting our our founding ideals and principals and replacing it with our original sin of an America founded on slavery and racism. It's about making white people feel guilty of being white, it's about re-education classes in companies to acknowledge your privilege and talk about how innately racist you are and forcing people to talk about how they benefited from white privilege.

They change the definition of racism. Instead of judging people on the content of their character, judge them on the color of their skin. And if that skin is white, it's OK to sh*t on them. Colorblindness is racism. You have to actively promote 'anti-racist' causes. "Anit-racist' meaning affirmative action, hiring quotas, equal outcomes etcetera. I didn't realize "self defense" had a race criteria.  I'm sure it would be "no harm no foul" if the races were reversed.
