Trump starting to rise in polls again - media silent

Well last time it was the pan handle that pushed us over the top. Miami is getting hit hard by Corona, so we will see how many of them actually vote. Is Biden worth them going to the booths? IDK. North Florida hasn't been hit as hard by Corona and that's Trump all the way.

Mail in voting will ensure 100% turnout in Miami. Even the recently deceased.

Hopefully any hint of Biden being a socialist puppet will eliminate the Cuban vote.

It used to be with the Cuban's that fled Castro felt Democrates were to close to what they fled. But now? Who knows. Last election Miami was heavy for Clinton. I guess things have changed. A new generation of Cubans that were born here don't feel that way.

Here's how it went in 2016.

I saw a stupid poll today that said "most Trump voters wont accept a close loss".  What the fuk does that even mean?  They gonna storm the inauguration, or what?

It means the media thinks they'll act like Hillary voters have for the past four years.

I know I'm ready to put on a green coat and beanie hat and shriek hysterically on camera at Biden's inauguration.

Maybe - I thought OH was in play.

Anyway Biden will win a few states that Trump won in 2016 for sure. His odds of winning overall seen 50/50 to me. Covid would have hurt Trump either way but his own behavior has hurt him much worse.

Can't argue that one. At times, he's a total idiot in front of the mic but he's the only logical choice until either party brings forth a legitimate human. His ideas are all correct.

The last 2 Ds have been a pear shaped, butt plug wearing, "its all about me" idiot and an certified Alzheimer patient. The R's couldn't beat Trump because they were all idiots in 2016.

I don't think anything changes.  The areas where people are fired up against Trump, are areas where Trump was going to lose.  Trump lost by 4M votes in CA, 1.75M in NY.  Lost NJ by 550k and by 45k in MN.  That's about 6M votes.  Losing them by 4.5M, 2.25M, 800k, and 100k in those states won't change anything.  Trump won by 77 electoral votes.  If you take Trumps 7 smallest win and flip them, that's a 104 swing, enough to win for Biden.  PA is one of those 7, if Trump wins there, and I think it's a lock that he does, he'll still win.

If Trump loses PA, WI and MI he loses the election. At least according to the polls, he’s down by a significant margin in all three and facing challenges in states he should have in the bag, like Florida and Georgia. He is far from a lock in November and it’s mostly his own fault.

It means this:

Trump will win on election night. Then over the coming days, mail in ballots will begin to be found in the back of rental trucks that mysteriously all go for Biden. Biden overtakes Trump with these questionable votes. A legal battle ensues, and the Democrats try to throw Trump out of office.

Why should he have Florida in the bag? He barely won it in 16 and Obama won it twice. Just saying stuff again.  It’s not even a troll, it’s just old fashioned ignorance.

Emerson has the race at Biden ahead 50-46.  That pretty much predicts a Trump victory, since a slew of democrats are locked into California and New York state.

LOL, polls!  Didn't learn from last time did you?  On the exit polls 4 years ago, he lost FL!  He's going to win.  I think any non-Trump fan, be it Rep, Ind, or Dem, get used to seeing Trump, because he's getting 4 more years.

If polls don’t matter why post a poll that shows him doing better?

Trump should win because Biden sucks. If he does find a way to lose to Sleepy Joe the meltdown will be epic.

I believe Trump was a big favorite at the start of the year.

Trump definitely wasn't a BIG favorite in Jan 2020, but I think you're right Trump was a slight favorite. I'll update again in a couple weeks and see if it's changed.

Interestingly, current odds to win the POPULAR vote...

Biden -550

Trump +425

Trump is not down significantly in the WI polling.  Biden's lead there is 5% or less.  The polls were worse for Trump in Wisconsin in 2016 and he won the state.  The PA polls show Trump trailing by just 6 points on average, altho recent ones have him down by only 2 or 3 percent.

You are lying.

A big problem for dems in PA is that democrat governor Tom Wolf's approval rating has collapsed regarding his handling of the crises.

No because there is a real concern that democrats are likely to stay at home and not vote because they are more scared of COVID than republicans.

Democrats for decades have implemented a practice of sending out buses to scoop up people and bus them to polling stations.  That may not work this year because everyone will be scared of boarding those buses and getting sick.

Lines move based on the money.  That just means that everybody is betting Biden, and they should.  Everyone knows he's going to win the popular vote, so the odds makers are trying to push the line in hopes people will take Trump.

Trump is down 5-7 in WI depending on the poll. I’d say that’s “significant.”

I don’t know what Wolf’s approval rating on Covid is. But I am sure it’s a whole lot better than Trump’s. Like seemingly every other governor.

I think it's a given that there'll be other means of voting than in-person.  Besides, we know there'll be tons of votes cast by non-legal voters and non-legal ballots voting for Biden that will get counted.

5-7 is nothing man.  The polls are always skewed in favor of democrats.  Trump is likely ahead in WI is the polls say 5-7.

Wolf last recorded approval rating was down like 20 points and he was underwater AND it oversampled democrats so he actually even in worse shape than reported.

Considering that the poll is probably 10% off, I'd say Trump is fine.

Of course, because the Lefties are telling you to think that way, so you do.

Well that happens every year and Trump still won in 2016 with those shenanigans taking place.  So you have that by default and now you have COVID which democrats are terrified of on top of that.

Also afraid of COVID.... old people, many of whom have never voted through mail and simply won't vote this election.

Are older people really more afraid of COVID than the average?  I mean I hear it every day that democrats are terrified of it, but I've not heard the elderly acting extra scared.  We have been told they are more at-risk, but not extra scared.

All I could find is this poll which says that seniors are actually the LEAST worried, but its from march 2020.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/martyswant/2020/03/13/harris-poll-us-seniors-are-least-worried-and-least-informed-about-covid-19-but-most-at-risk/#7211eb242f32

I found this from June that says older men are least worried about COVID.

I kind of have to agree with this statement.  If polls are a joke why did we start a thread using a poll?

Agreed. But not nearly as epic of a meltdown when he gets re elected.

I'm bringing 10+  conservative votes this year that didn't vote in 2016 or the midterms. All are 20 something
