I think she was a bad choice mainly for demographic reasons. She’s from California and progressives hate her. Whether she’ll fire up black Americans to get to the polls I don’t know. VPs usually don’t make or break a candidate. She may be more important given Sleepy Joe’s age.

On the plus side she’s a litigator and should destroy Pence in a debate but I doubt anyone will care. The pick may be a bit of a rope a dope. Trump and his goons can’t help themselves with the sexist and racist invective. As evidenced here at the GC every day.
