If they are in contention, which they are right now. How will they possibly make up games on a schedule that has very limited off days? How many 7 inning DH can they play?

There's nothing wrong with the Harper contract.  Because they have Harper, the Phillies can now just focus on fixing their pitching issues.  Also, it's not like the Phillies have played 18 games.  They've only played 13.  Their winning pct is only 0.015 behind the Cardinals.

Other teams are losing out on games because the Cardinals can't handle doing the right thing. They need to be disqualified now for this season.
