How is Drew Brees only a 1 time all pro QB?

Bad luck just like the stars that were in the NBA during the Michael Jordan era. Drew Brees is great, but he was never Tom  Brady. I would put him over Peyton Manning bc Peyton is a piece of that deserves to die of ghonereah, but others will disagree.

Except he did not play in the same conference as them. He’s 8-6 in the playoffs.  Not an all time great stat. Or close.

Brady, just last year, if not for that defense he winds up with maybe 5 wins. They carried him like a dead weight and didn't quit like most would have done in the Falcons SB. Terrible , non-sensical play calling prior to that “worst call ever”.  Brees and Payton got let off the hook by that call. You should be more mad at them than the refs. Payton is overrated as well.

Brees kicked ass his whole career.

Brees was All Pro many more times.  He was 1st team 1 time, but 2nd many more.  Losing to Brady, Peyton, and Rodgers most of the time.  Also Cam when he was MVP, Matt Ryan in 2 very good seasons, and Wentz in their Superbowl year.

If it was such a bad call, why didn't the receiver come up with his hands out throwing an imaginary flag like they all do?  He just got up and went back to the huddle...

Payton was yelling his azz off at the ref. As for the player he got jolted pretty good had something to do with it. Not really thinking about a flag gesture getting hit like that.

I had the Saints winning the Super Bowl in feb 2019 until they lost Sheldon Rankins (a KEY pass rusher) for the season to injury (torn achilles) in the playoff win vs the Eagles. That changed a lot of history imo.
