Mookz 1,286 Posted September 16, 2020 I think their descriptions are all focked up. I don't think it's a "ride" at all, it's a way to observe the countryside. When it says "slow motion", that's regular motion, and when it says nothing, the film is sped way up. You can tell when they show close-ups of the people walking around inside. What I'm trying to say is that I believe that this thing moves extremely slowly.

Voltaire 4,499 Posted September 17, 2020 I never heard of it before but it's probably in this province or a nearby one since it's the mountains. And yes, I would ride it, why not?

I looked it up, it's in Chongqing so it's not too far away, no. I use to live there for two years around 2008-10 or so. My wife went to Chongqing University and she has family there that we visit every now and again as it's her father's hometown. Next time we go, I'll bring it up that maybe we check this out.

titans&bucs&bearsohmy! 2,745 Posted September 17, 2020 I wouldn't, because knowing China, they'll cram 500 mother fockers in that damn thing and it will be a bloodsport to get to the rail for pictures.
FlyinHeadlock 459 Posted September 17, 2020 I would do a VR ride of it. That and a Kobe Copter.
Voltaire 4,499 Posted September 17, 2020 :dunno: Why not? Some guy with a vision and some money hired a guy with an engineering degree to make a cool thing to be ridden.
TimmySmith 2,782 Posted September 17, 2020 There is no disputing the beauty of it. Really spruces up the countryside.
