But you were wrong about ‘your’ team, shady wasn’t cut he is still there. You clearly don’t know what you’re talking about even While being the king of the homers. Just like you don’t know what you’re talking about when you call a rb with a career 3.9 ypc a good rb.  As for moving on someone needs to keep the king honest, lest he become drunk with power...

Can we all just agree that they both suck? This is Vaughn's team.

Jones, when getting the ball, had 20 rush attempts for 111 yards (5.55 ypc average).  In Week 1, Mixon got 69 yards on 19 carries (3.63), against the Chargers.  Week 2, CEH got 38 yards on 10 carries (3.80), and last week Mike Davis got 46 yards on 13 carries (3.54).

Interesting... after 4 games, Jones is averaging 4.4 yards per carry.

I also remember someone saying something about Jones getting about 20 touches per game, prior to Fournette's signing.  Jones had 20 rushes and 6 receptions Sunday.  Weird, huh.

:dunno:

He was avg 14 touches per game his first three games, oh yeah Fournette was active.

Weird.

Your memory is faulty.  Someone said something about Jones AVERAGING 20 touches per game on the season, not just getting 20 touches in one game.

Will it be weird when he averages 3.5 yards a carry in the next game?

With the Bears surrendering 5.1 yards per carry to the Lions', Giants' and Falcons' RBs over the first three games, it would be positively astounding.

Well if anyone can beat the odds to insure his mediocrity, its Ronald Jones...

He's no Leroy Hoard.

We're talking about a solid low-end RB2 here, who will do what a low-end RB2 does this week--have a solid game against a suspect run defense, but make a few mistakes that will prevent him from having a truly huge day.

Just like he did Sunday, when he dropped a couple of easy swing passes, one of which would have added 7.3 PPR points to his fantasy total, as it would have been a walk-in from the 3 yard line, on the play just before Brate caught his TD.

That drop would have been a td to a Bucs rb, if that was to Fournette, money.

Agreed.  I thought Ronald Jones' 3 drops were egregious enough to solidify McCoy and Fournette in the role of the pass-catching specialists (when healthy, of course).

Brady looked like he was getting a little miffed about it by the third drop, too.

Nope, not faulty at all.  That is what I said.  I'm pointing out evidence that supports my claims.  He had over 20 touches on Sunday.  He'll have over 20 on Thursday as well if Fournette doesn't play.

Weird.

My comments about 20 touches was before Fournette.  I said that after the signing that he get 16.  The only reason he didn't get 16 is because Arians pulled Jones when Brady caused the fumble.

Remember, you were the one who called him out for 3.9 after 3 games.

My post was a reminder that he was avg 14 touches per game.

Ronald Jones has 175 rushing yards after contact in his last two games. Only Dalvin Cook has more in any 2-game stretch this season.

He looked great last night...got a TD stolen from him as well.

Ronald Jones is who we thought he was

An above average efficient runner with top end juke/cutting/balance

Came into the league very immature as a person and unaware what it meant to actually play the mental side of the game   In college they mostly just gave him the ball and said ‘run’

He is deficient in being a reliable pass catching back right now but is working on improving that

In my league (half ppr, where I own RJ), he is currently averaging 11.8 fantasy points a game. That is good for RB 25. He is a nice flex/Bye week low-end RB2. That has value, but a star he is not...
