It is indeed an ankle.  Planted it trying to stay inbounds on a TD reception--was out of bounds and out of luck.

So the 2020 Jordan Reed project is over.

He at least coulda scored the TD, for crying out loud.

He was back in later with a heavily-taped ankle, missed another reception and walked off with a slight limp.

OF COURSE he went down with injury - I started him today to replace Kittle.

This is my fantasy season in a nutshell and it's only week 3.  5 of my top 7 draft picks all out with injury.

Now being called a 6-8 week injury.  I brought him in as a Kttle owner.  That position is cursed.

49ers TE Jordan Reed (Knee) will be activated from injured reserve and play Thursday night for the 49ers.

On IR since early October, Reed looks like a go for Thursday Night Football. This complicates the Niners' tight end situation and likely makes Ross Dwelley -- who had a touchdown last week after George Kittle went down to injury -- unusable for fantasy purposes.
