gitrdun 16 Posted October 10, 2020 Any news from Saints homers? I am facing a crucial game and must go with Justin Jefferson (not a bad option, but no Thomas) if Thomas is not a go. Very fearful gambling on Thomas playing and being stuck on Monday night if he doesn't play.
joeshushu 51 Posted October 10, 2020 Wanted to maybe throw Murray in there if Thomas didn’t play. Latest I heard was That's now three consecutive practices for Thomas as he looks forward to making a return in Week 5. He will likely be listed as questionable, but his participation in practice all week should give him a real shot at suiting up Monday night against the Chargers. Just make sure you have a backup option should Thomas be ruled out ahead of the game.
weepaws 2,418 Posted October 10, 2020 I think he’s playing, plus he has that extra day.
tecklc2112 7 Posted October 10, 2020 Unless he is darn near 100%, there's no way he's playing with the Saints having a week 6 bye. Would be foolish not to let him rest as much as possible & completely heal for the stretch run.
bobjay00 22 Posted October 10, 2020 Good viewpoint TECHLC2112. That makes a lot of sense. I have Thomas in 2 leagues and I am lucky enough to have Trequan Smith in both.
weepaws 2,418 Posted October 10, 2020 I think that is a good point. But the fact that he’s been practicing, and getting on the field gets him back into his routine, then he can rest again during the teams bye week, I see him playing.

jrbdmb 28 Posted October 11, 2020 Rumor now is that he is out, per Schefter.
EternalShinyAndChrome 2,426 Posted October 11, 2020 He's out for "disciplinary reasons". Not sure what he did. Anybody hear anything on it?

polecatt 397 Posted October 12, 2020 Altercation with teammate at practice. Is this guy turning into Antonio Brown?

Karma for publicly calling out and embarrassing his QB, over his stance about the anthem and the flag, perhaps? Shoulda been handled privately.
