Recommend a Movie for Tonight

Recommended Posts

Please!

Something new, but an all time classic would be good as well(if it's more obscure)

TIA

If you like weird, original movies I recommend The Platform on Netflix. I watched it a couple days ago and really liked it.

If you want a short series then The Liberator was excellent.

Don't watch Charger games then.  Every week is like the same horror film.

I think so, but thanks.

Man, it's tough to find a good movie these days.

That’s because grown men watch superhero and horror films still.

The Guard from 2011 with Brendan Gleason and Don Cheadle was fantastic.

To Live & Die In LA

I was working at a printing shop at the time this movie came out. Was using the exact same press & printing plates the bad guy in the movie used to make counterfeit bills.

I thought about it!

Is "The Platform" a foreign flick with the weird prison with multiple levels with food?  If so, yeah that wasn't bad.  Definitely an interesting premise.

Watched Imitation Game this week, good flick, about Alan Turing and the team that worked on decoding Nazi transmissions in WWII.  On Amazon with ads.

Moneyball is on Netflix, watched it the other day... Not bad imo and I'm not really a big baseball fan.

Just watched Cadaver on Netflix. Norwegian but dubbing isn't bad.  Flimsy setup (post nuclear apocalypse) but interesting enough movie otherwise.  Definitely worse ways to spend 1.5 hrs.
