AxeElf 787 Posted November 28, 2020 Kind of felt sorry for Sarah Fuller, a Vanderbilt soccer player, who was set to become the first female to take part in a Power 5 football game today--and then Vanderbilt lost 41-0, so she never had a chance to kick a FG or XP. She did, however, "take part" in the game when she delivered the 2nd half kickoff... It traveled about 30 yards, to the Missouri 35. Good thing she didn't have to attempt any FGs or XPs. Even a squib kick is supposed to have power behind it and bounce down close to the end zone if not covered. Her kick would have rolled dead at the 30 yard line. Now when girls get on the field and actually are in a position to hit or get hit by someone then we can talk about it. And I also feel the same way about girls talking football like on pregame shows.
