My bet is that, if Deshaun Watson gets traded, it will be to the Broncos.

1.  About half of the AFC titles in NFL history have been won by the Broncos, Patriots and Steelers.
2.  That doesn't happen by accident.  That happens because those 3 teams are TRULY in this thing to win.  They are all about winning.
3.  A team that trades for Watson is likely truly about winning.
4.  Watson has expressed interested in being a Bronco.
5.  Of course, the Broncos need a QB.
6.  They've brought in a superstar QB recently to massive success (Peyton Manning).  So its not taboo to do this type of thing in their culture.

The interest between Denver and Watson is mutual. The QB told former teammate Kareem Jackson that he would be interested in joining the Broncos if they made an attempt to trade for him. Other reports have confirmed that Watson is intrigued by the possibility of landing in Denver.

Houston is nuts to trade him to an AFC team. There are plenty of NFC teams that will pay up.

Looks like Russell Wilson is gonna get traded VERY soon.  Wilson has thrown his entire OL under the bus.

"We've got to get better up front," Wilson told Patrick early Tuesday morning. "It's not just passing, [but] in terms of everything you do. It controls the game as you watched the other night [in Super Bowl LV]."

At this point, he cannot return to Seattle.  As good as he is, they would have to replace all 5 OL to keep him.  Wilson has listed 4 teams he wants to go to:  Saints, Bears, Raiders and Cowboys.

This puts the whole Cowboys vs Dak situation in a new light.  Its been said that this Wilson issue has been brewing since at least before the 2019 season.  Perhaps via backchannels, Wilson had contact with Jerruh a couple of years ago and they were planning a deal all along.  Trade Dak Prescott to Seattle for Russell Wilson?  Dak is the better locker room leader and younger.  Wilson is more talented.  Dak will have a very good WR corps to operate with in Seattle.  The other 3 teams don't make sense to me for Seattle.  It must be Dallas.  Seems very obvious.

There was a long article in The Athletic about the rift between Wilson. Much of it had to do with Wilson coming to Carroll with a plan about how to fix the offense when they were struggling midseason, and getting rejected. Which is important because the relationship between Wilson and the players had already deteriorated since the Super Bowl loss over Carroll's special treatment of Wilson. So the coach/QB relationship seemed to be the only thing holding both to the Seahawks. The OL comments are just a result of the tension, not the cause of it.

Wilson to the Cowboys would make me sick. I laughed when I saw the Bears were one of the teams he would go to. Why?

It’s real punky that Wilson and Watson are trying to force trades to teams that have a QB under contract. We’re in this together.
