Why is RP so widely loathed here?

I don't remember him being so horrific that posters today mention him so frequently in a negative light, much less warrant the ban hammer. 

The truth outweirding fiction here being that we live in the same small town, unknowingly crossed paths several times and talked about grabbing a beer but never did. 

I prolly actually know him in real life due to what I remember of his community involvement in a small town. 

One of those bored mysteries for me. 

But I have my suspicions ...

Recliner Pilot was a hardcore republican poster. The antithesis to Torrid Joe.  

For some reason, people don't like people arguing different point of views and "report" folks, which leads to the dumb azz shiot we see today.  Canceling people you disagree with.   

Its a result of kids who lost soccer games but still got a trophy.  Now those little pussies are all grown up.

I used to aggressively argue with Torrid Joe to the point where I got the same backlash for that as I do now for being fervently anti-Clownzo. 

What fun would this place be without having some place to blow off argumentative steam?

I'd love a good jihad if we could find one. 

There is so much new material with which to work. 

But RP never struck me as a bad hombre.

Well, HT has been aware of my personal movements of late. He knew I was away with my wife. He'd only knows that from social media, and he'd only know where to look if he knew me. I'll still go get a beer with him. Beer is beer, damnit.
