I want Mahomes to play, don’t want any asterisk if the Bills beat them without him

Lets go Bills.

The other teams Qb must go down, and he must go down hard. N

No way Mahomes doesn’t play. He might be banged up a little bit but he’s playing

It won't be his call, he has to clear concussion protocol.

Some how some way, he’ll clear.

I hope he plays.  I also hope Buffalo wins.  Tampa matches up better against them than KC.  Mind you, I'm not afraid of KC, just that Buffalo is a better matchup.

Pretty easy to clear the concussion protocol when you never had a concussion to begin with.

It's looking more and more like Mahomes is going to play.

So we should have a great AFC Championship game!

Go Bills! It is exciting for the league to have Allen and Mahomes already playing well at such young ages. Should be many years of great matchups like this to come!

Really fun article from the Ringer about who can throw the ball farther between Allen and Mahomes:

Chiefs peaked last year, no chance they win this one.

this year's team is better than last year IMO.  Doesn't mean they win two more games, but they kept last year's team in tact (minus the COVID opt-outs) and improved via the draft with CEH, Willie Gay and L'Jarius Sneed.

How did Mahomes look at practice?
Nate Taylor, Chiefs beat writer: The great news for the Chiefs is that Mahomes looked very much like, well, himself. In the first periods of practice, Mahomes threw the ball with plenty of power and accuracy to his receivers. He was also able to go through the handoff exchange on run-pass option plays with rookie running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire, who could make his postseason debut Sunday. Although Mahomes sustained a left big toe injury last week, he moved around well when going through his footwork drills to simulate his movement in the pocket before releasing the ball.

Is Mahomes on track to start Sunday?
Lindsay Jones, senior NFL writer: You have to be careful not to speculate too much about the concussion protocol, but we can speak to what we know: Mahomes was on the practice field two days in a row, and the fact that Reid said Mahomes "took the majority" of starter reps in Thursday's practice — a real practice, unlike Wednesday's light session — is an indication that Mahomes is nearing the final phases of the protocol.

Final clearance will come from an independent neurologist, but all signs right now point to Mahomes playing, barring some sort of setback in the next 48 hours.

It does....but that’s because he never even had a concussion. He had the equivalent of a neck stinger which mimics some symptoms of a concussion.  It was clear as day on the play this happened that his head was twisted rather harshly but did NOT get struck hard or hit the ground hard which is required to get a concussion. Either way, he’s playing and that’s a damned good thing. The Bills are legit and have a chance for sure but I say KC a is still too tough.  Chiefs 34, Bills 27.

KC defense is playing with fire with the extracurricular stuff after the whistle.  They are getting those extra little pushes and jabs in.  I don't think you're going to intimidate the Bills, and you're just risking giving them a free 15 yards

Just now hit me...what if the Bills, tormented for decades by Tom Brady, finally Brady leaves NE and they make it all the way to the Super Bowl...and Brady kills them again.

Taylor Bass is a great weapon.  6th round drat pick out of Georgia Southern.  He's really been good this year.
