To explain my point further is yes income and poverty play a key role in producing good citizens on a whole.  But there are plenty of white people in the same boat.  Blacks may be more in poverty % wise (guessing)

So what do we do?  Have jobs to obtain.    Emphasis on family living.   Hold standards.   Get people interested in investing/saving. ( blacks investing more than evrler thread)    Strive to do well and get out of the "projects".   Be responsible parents and teach your kids to be the same........these are all things that work.  These are all things that are being destroyed.

I don't know or care what his political affiliation or who he voted for. I only care what he says. That is why I still give Bill Maher a chance. He still says intelligent things that matter. Maybe far less than Denzel, but I don't know that. Denzel doesn't have a show

In his speeches he clearly focuses on accountability, earning what you get, honoring commitments, and working hard.  Those are things that Liberals don't condone.

You understand that what you wrote can't be accurate right?  Because, if you condone accountability... how can you vote for a group of people who support/promote single parent homes and want to lessen laws as to protect criminals?  If you condone earning what you get, how can you vote for people who support/promote giving things away?  If you believe in working hard, how do you vote for people who support/promote the used of welfare?  If you hate the other side, and you have these beliefs, then you're clearly incompetent because you hate the things you believe in.

Of course you’re right. But that thought process is no longer applicable. What the two sides want to do, besides get rich, are vastly different in 2020. It’s where we are at right now. You pick one or the other, baggage included. They both have baggage, but it’s up to you to decide which one is less dangerous. I see nothing from the right that I would consider  dangerous.  I do from the left. It’s like when John Kruk lost some weight and said “my wife says I look a lot less disgusting now”.  The right is a lot less disgusting.

The Left ideology is moving towards AOC.  Prior to Obama, the only true socialist presence in DC was Bernie... now there's AOC, Pressley, Omar, Tlaib, Bowan, and Bush.  That's not counting the growing number of people like Warren and Harris who are accepting of stronger socialistic policies.  If he's voting Democrat, he's giving people like these (including AOC), a stronger base and voice... so, he is willing to accept policies that people like her want.

If there are reasonable Democrats out there, the best way to get what you want, is to vote Republican.  Make sure that the current shift of the party is quieted.  Once their voice holds no power, then go back to voting for reasonable Democrats.  Make it known to your party that you don't like the socialist trend.  They'll stop.  The thing is, today, because of all the social justice bull crap, if you're Democrat and want to be in office, you need to tow the socialist trend or you won't get any backing.  If you still manage to win, you'll have no voice because no one on your side will agree with you.  You'll end up being the next Jeff Van Drew.

I live with a self proclaimed liberal and work with another 1,  neither wants hardly anything that AOC wants. What was their option? Trump or Biden?  2 party system sucks and leaves most people with nowhere to turn
