Biden’s Plan: Make America California Again

Recommended Posts

...is the Headline from the LA Times article pasted below. I pasted the the whole article as it was behind a pay wall.
Those of us who live here know; our poverty is high homelessness is high, taxes are high, and crime is increasing as well. P
people are leaving in droves and there are no plans to open businesses and/or schools anytime soon. The power gets shut off here during scorching hot days because of wild fires that rip through and destroy cities in a matter of hours. And the tax payers pay higher power and gas rates for the failures of the companies that provide us with these.

So. This is his plan for the rest of the country.

LMAO...

For a place that is such a breath taking natural gem, you gotta really be fuking up to drive people out in droves.

How about we give him a few months first? Lots of folks worried about Obama focking things up too and it didn’t happen.

We have hoped that all Presidents were successful and good leaders. Why treat this one different?

I have no problem with this.

However...if you’re in CA and you see his plan, it’s not great. Only 30% of Californians can afford to buy a house here, the remainder pay outrageous amounts of rent. Small businesses here have closed and will likely never reopen.
You can literally take a shite in the middle of a San Francisco street in the Financial District and not receive any kind of warning or citation. Our Governor let criminals out of prisons so they “wouldn’t spread corona” resulting in the same people getting arrested up to 10 times - and just released over and over again.
We have one of the lowest education rates/scores in the nation and one of the highest tax rates. The gas tax here is crazy, but our roads are shite. Over the last two Governors, the state has literally fallen apart.
I am willing to give him a chance, but he’s stated this is his plan and many of his cabinet members are from CA; many are leaving themselves because of what they created. Even out Governor has other homes he travels to and lives in in other states. 🤷‍♀️

Might want to talk to your state legislature and Governor about that. Of course the problems in CA have been going on for a while now.

There’s a petition to recall him, actually but he’s saying that it’s a “coup.” Since that seems to be the new buzz word.
He’s basically made himself the One Man Rule party, signed over 500 executive orders since January 2020; bypassing our state Legos entirely to create new laws.
So yeah. I’ll talk to him.
Again, the one man/one party rule is what people want right now. Biden’s also stated he has several executive orders planned in his first few weeks. This is how it is now. 🤷‍♀️

It's not going to be pretty.

Hell, even Janet Yellen & the treasury are going to get involved.

"act aggressively to reduce economic inequality, fight climate change & counter China's unfair trade & subsidy practices"

You could be talking about my state..... Minnesota. Everything matches, except for the low education rates/scores. White kids in the state are doing fine, it's the minorities who's scores are atrocious. And just as you'd expect, Minnesota Democrats (DFL:  Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party) have insisted, every 2 years, for 25+ years now, that all we have to do is spend more money to solve the problem. It never works/improves. That probably has something to do with the fact that Minnesota imports a ridiculously disproportionate percentage of the legal immigrants that come to the US.

If you think I'm exaggerating, Google, Minneapolis-St. Paul little Mogadishu. I have nothing whatsoever against legal immigration, but it's not fair that one state has to absorb such a disproportionate number. As for the same people getting arrested up to 10 times, check this out. This filthy animal had over a dozen felony convictions, before he graduated to murder. And cases like this aren't rare.

Destroy the cities.  Turn them into dumps.  I dont care.  Just stay away from the rural areas and leave people like me alone.   We have a quality of life and peace out here.  Leave good people who follow the law and work hard alone.  We can take care of ourselves.

Ill pay a higher tax rate if they want.  In exchange for a promise to keep the illegals and insane liberals in their sanctuary cities.

But Im afraid sprawl will be big in the coming years.  Normal people dont qant to live in the dumps that Liberal politicians have created and cultivated.

hussein did fock this country up. His nation wide push for identity politics alone was a disaster. Set race relations back 60 years. He is the reason there is so much divide in this countty and why the democrats went heavy after Trump before he even took office.

creepy joe has 50 years in office of doing nothing good and now we are supposed to think all of a sudden he is going to be this great leader? No thanks. The guy is a tool with a cackling dumb ass socialist as a  VP.

He only weaponized the government, exacerbated the surveillance state, oversaw the worst economic recovery in our nations history and, gave us the Obamacare abomination. Yeah all successes. Can’t wait for the next round of civil liberty erosions and massive cost of living increases.

I will give the guy a chance to not be a sh!tty dirtbag, but we have to remember what his party now consists of.....and he likely HAS to placate them.

Still, lets give him the chance that leftists and the MSM never gave Trump and lets his outcomes dictate how we measure him, and not how nice he is....which is all the retards are doing right now.

Well, government ruins everything, within government it does appear that Democrats are a little worse. They are like large puppies, the best of intentions but just destroy everything with their recklessness.

The part about China is the funniest. As if they are going to do anything on that front.

Paradise, CA burned within a matter of hours when the fire ripped through there

Come on man.  You're smarter than this.  California is fully gerrymandered and has a huge Dem advantage in voters, ensuring that the legislature is majority Dem.  There isn't anything anyone can do about that.  The Dems have had a supermajority in the legislature for at least the last decade so the Dems don't even try to appease the other side any more.  Nothing TNG says to any of her politicians is going to make a difference.

“Reduce economic inequality” is my biggest concern.  If the goal is equality of results vs. equality of opportunities, the end game will be to lower us all to a common denominator.

California, and its counterpart in New York, has made it clear that working hard and success will be punished, which is why people are fleeing these states in droves.

It follows with standard Democrat doctrine to create a sh!thole, and then pretend to be the solution for that creation.  So it does make sense.

I don’t think they do this on purpose.  The best laid plans... the road to hell...

The point was that, just because it is happening in CA, doesn't mean that it will happen at the national level. California has been heading down this road for a long time and it is not all on Newsom for this.

No, Brown was awful as well. It's a string of democrats that have done this and the state is rigged now to always be blue. That's the point, not the person.

I cannot be sure.

I suspect that they know their access to power is predicated on pandering to the less fortunate, who outnumber the hard working people.  Therefore they pander, often deliver on the pandering, but none of their ideas ever actually work, so the issue prevails, then they find ways to blame the other guys over and over.

Schwarzenegger actually tried to do some good things.  He called a special election to vote on a number of reform measures but all of them failed.  After that, he pretty much rolled over.  That was the state's last chance.  Worth noting that it's likely Newson gets recalled and he would be the 2nd Dem governor recalled in the last 20 years.  Even the Dems don't always like the crap they elect.

What's the criteria and timeline for the recall effort?
