Favorite wing sauce

Recommended Posts

My Anchor Bar sauce whoop butt again. Best wings I had in years and know the best wings places in my town. Mine was better then all them tonight. I'm talking tradition sauce though.

Here in China, chicken wings are extremely popular. Damn near every restaurant serves them.

Problem is... No sauce. At all. They are just plain ass baked chicken wings. If you ask for sauce, they bring ketchup (chinese people are under the impression that ketchup is the only western sauce). And even the ketchup is this sickening sweet crap.

I'd kill for some good bufallo sauce over here.

I had asian-american fusion chicken wings last night from a Thai restaurant and they were coated in sauce.

The problem is you live in the wrong country for american-asian fusion food. It is better in america.

Edit:

I do not have you or voltaire's experience in asia, but I have been to KL multiple times.

I remember going to this Chinese buffet back in the 90's and not bad but they would blast rap music while you ate. Guess they thought all Americans love rap music. Anyways can;t you make your own ?

It is not an exotic ingredient, although Bier made it sound more exotic than ti really is.

I can find at Safeway, but do not know how accessible it is around the country

I prefer other asian chili sauces, but I have a wide selection available. Most all are good though.

I have never bought the brand you mentioned, but it is probably what is available at most supermarkets.

Oh yes, Asian food in America is far better.

Chinese food here and Chinese food there are completely different things that are basically unrecognizable as similar.

Now Thai food in Thailand is killer. Same with Vietnamese food in Vietnam.

I though KL and Singapore both had great food. Kind of weird Muslim/Indian/chinese fusion.

I suppose I could, but then I'd have to carry it with me when I went out.
