I was never sad to have such a piece of rubbish a mother who died long before my son ever had a chance to meet her. She taught me all the wrong ways to live life. I have a half brother who was 12 when she died, he is 33 now. He misses her and was sad he didn't know her that well. I try to not ruin his misconceptions of what she was.
