She won with 75% of the vote so she is representing her district. Same % Nancy Pelosi received. Which one is more insane?

I’ll go with the one who thinks space lasers cause wildfires and Hillary drinks the blood of children.

Wonder if the leftists would hold someone with a (D) next to their name just as accountable.   Meh, whatever, this lady is nuts but unless she has actually done something illegal they should not touch her. Her little lonely vote on any legislation wont mean sh!t, but lets not set the precedent that we can remove people because they say dumb stuff

I think I see the problem here. What you’ve posted above is lies and spin. This is typical of politicians from both sides of the aisle. It means they’re dishonest and corrupt. It doesn’t mean they’re mad.

The space laser / blood drinking stuff is what a crazy person says. She may be a mighty fine person. But she’s a loon.

I hope that helps.

She's the crazy cousin you have to invite over for Thanksgiving but secretly hope doesn't show up.

I dunno, she's anti-establishment and we need more of those. Ideally, when we get anti-establishment people, they are more credible and persuasive than this, caracature loons to serve as a pinata are embarrassing, but you get what you get.

Could she be the candidate for the Presidency against Kamala Harris in four years?

Marj could be the blonde, running for The Patriot Party. Being female she will lose the Evangelicals, but most every cracker with a pickup will be totally down with her.

They seem to have something in common, a hate for people not of the right categories.

You could say the same of the former president. Between the two, I would guess Marj would get the majority of votes from this bored.

You don't mean votes on the forum, right? That can't happen in real life.

You might want to just watch some of her videos and read her posts (although some have been deleted). She should have never been elected. The people in Georgia must be proud.

I guess that's too hard for some people. Just like Trump, it doesn't take the media to understand how crazy they are, just listen to the crazy shit they say in their own words.

Of course she is crazy. It’s not a reason for her to be removed from office.

If being "crazy" was reason to remove politicians from office half the House would be gone.

I think it's cool (of them) that at least two Parkland parents have reached out to her.

https://bearingarms.com/cam-e/2021/01/29/parkland-dads-marjorie-taylor-greene/

I really dislike her demeanor from what I've seen. 30 second clips of sharing her POV over social media. Vibe wise, I assume she's rashly opinionated. Someone who spouts off a lot without circumspect thought.  When someone can withstand being a lightning rod of criticism, it's great if they're discerning and speak to where it really matters. It's just a mess otherwise.

But I agree it's obvious what the media is doing with this.

Completely true. But it will depend on whether they are Democrat or Republican, and whether or not they are loyal to the Party or not; that is the delimiter between right and wrong .

I can't defend anything she says because I don't really know what she says. At this point, I leave myself open to agreeing with 0%, 50%, or 100% of what she says. I do know she isn't part of the uniparty, has liberals screaming with their hair on fire, and has "Trump Won" on her mask, so at this point all I can only say is that she's starting off on a really, really, extremely positive note with me.

Not that I ever claimed Trump won either, just that I like that she is take a stand and is fixing for a fight on the matter. I recognize the election was rampant with dubious issues that should be examined, looked into, and clarified rather than covered up.

I've looked into her a bit more since I posted this. I like her in that she's not a uniparty puppet but I have to keep a distance rather than embrace her as she is too far out there and has some strange beliefs. I don't think she should be censored or muzzled or reprimanded but I won't be relying on her for insights or guidance on issues. She's a gadfly but she's not a corrupt crook and her heart is in the right place, it seems to me. The left will use her for the same reasons the right uses AOC and her doofus squad.

My thoughts exactly.  They are basically the same in that regard.

I wouldn't use AOC as a comparison.  The right doesn't parade Greene around... but the Left does parade all members of "The Squad", around (especially AOC), because it gives the façade of diversity.  Also because Cortez is in NYC.

Direct comparisons are not really feasible here.  The left is openly flouting our nation and its values, not to mention the constitution and rule of law.

Agreed, but my comment was really just a reaction to @Voltaire's last sentence and @Hawkeye21's response.

Seems obvious but the usual forearm grievance mongers will insist there’s a double standard at play.

There are different factions on the left. The Nancy Pelosi establishment faction wants to tie her up, shove her in a sack full of rocks and toss her in the Hudson river.  There had been a bit of a romance there at first but that lasted one interview, after they realized what they had on their hands. The freak show faction does like parading her around and they do have some influence with true believers infiltrating the corporate media and managing executives with no spine to confront them, so she can make her rounds.

As for the GOP, it's good to see that the Bush/Romney/McConnell wing is really on the ropes as the Trump faction has gained quite a bit of strength. She's on the weird fringe of the Trump faction, most know shes whack and would rather distance themselves from her while the media wants to put her center stage.

Greene got nearly 75% of the vote in her district. Is the opinion of a political party now more important than the voters who put them in office?

The Republican establishment stop caring about their voters a long time ago. The country club and the gun club, for a long time, were the base of the party. One of the two always gets what they want.

With respect to the first paragraph... I'd agree with you if Pelosi and Co were 20 years younger.  The thing is, their time is almost up.  One of the biggest complaints that the Left used to have was that there was too many old Republican's in office.  Right now, the tables have switched and there's a vast number of old Democrats in office.  There is 18 Republican's over the age of 70 in the House.  Want to guess how many Democrats there are?  58.  In the Senate, there's 18 Democrats over the age of 70 and 8 Republicans.  In the next 10 years, you could have 76 old Democrats out compared to 26 Republicans.  Pelosi, Shumer, Warren, etc, are in their 70's and on their way out.  The young socialist left, "The Squad", aren't going anywhere any time soon.  All that's happening on the left right now is a lid being put on top of a boiling pot of water.  Soon, very soon, the steam is going to break through and "The freak show faction", as you put it, will soon be the establishment, and it'll happen within the next 10 years.

I totally agree with the second.
