What You Eating Or Making For SB ?

Recommended Posts

Going to make wings and haven't done that for awhile. I have a deep Fryer and think wings aren't the same unless they are deep fried but just to much trouble. Going to throw some Veg oil on them and cook them in the oven, no matter how long it takes and want them crisp! Use my award winning Anchor Bar recipe for the sauce. What are you guys and gals making or having ?

Going to cut up celery and get me some good store bought Bleu cheese dressing. GF prefers ranch and we always have some of that around. To me most Ranch always taste the same.

I was going to grill or smoke something, but it's going to be real cold so i need to switch it up to inside cooking.  Was thinking wings, but I don't have a deep fryer.

:dunno:

I think I'm going to go buy a deep fryer, they don't seem to be that expensive.

What do you do with the discarded oil?

Pour it into empty 2 liter bottles or the bottles the oil came in and then just throw them in the trash

It's pretty simple, score the fat cap, season however you like, cook in oven fat side up at whatever temp you like (high heat gives you crispy skin) and pull at an internal of 165, let rest at least 30 minutes then cut away.

I like to cut into thick slices and then crisp up in a CIS for pork belly sammys

for best results place the porkbelly on a baking rack so air can get underneath while cooking
