1. I had to wear a mask into the stores everyday when I went to go buy something.   But I didn't have to fly to Dallas for work every week over the past year+. 

2. I didn't get to go eat at restaurants as much as I like to.   But it probably in the end saved me a shlt load of money and I ate way more healthy.

I started my job last June, there still wasn't a lot of hiring so I felt lucky to find a good match.  But it sucked to be working from home because I had a ton to learn about new products and our presence in my accounts, and that is soooo much easier live.

Then I got cancer, and it ends up I couldn't have kept this job if I couldn't do it remotely.  So in a weird way Covid saved my job.

Either Chinese dining habits or Chinese research is the reason this got started (depending on the various causation story versions).

Local Chinese authoritarianism is the reason something like overwhelmed the system and got out of control.

National Chinese authoritarianism is the reason they got the lid on this before anyone else such that the disease is been mostly wiped out in China.
