Anybody here eat liver?

Curious. I've had a handful of times.  Not bad. As with most things, it's really about the preparation.

 

What about fried chicken livers?  Found a place not too long ago that actually serves them. Used to love them as a kid. Haven't tried them yet there though.

When I was kid, my mom made liver a couple times.  It looked like meat, but something was very wrong with the texture.  Years later I realized it was. 

Told the wife we're getting divorced if she ever puts a liver on my plate.  It's an organ.... and a nasty one at that.

When I was working out hard two years ago I would eat beef liver now and then. Tasted very metallic and felt like I was eating brains but got it down. Crazy thing is you should only eat it about once a week cause it's so high in vitamin A and can hurt your liver if too much.

Interesting factoid: Oftentimes when an Orca kills a great white, they will only eat the sharks liver. 

 

Necropsies performed on the sharks show that the liver was removed with incredible precision; Almost surgical in nature.

 

It is untrue however, that the orcas eat the liver with fresh fava beans and a nice chianti.

I seen how the Orca can whoop a Great Whites ahole but usually takes two. Crazy they know how to go after the liver.

Gang initiation.  That's why you'll see them wearing blue bandanas.

No, I've tried to eat it several times as a child but just the taste of it made me want to vomit. 

However, I do like pate and it is liver I think...

You know, my grandmother made them a couple of times in my life and I really liked it. I haven’t had it since I was a kid and it’s really frowned upon these days but I thought it tasted great with rice.

Only poor or obese people eat liver. You’re obese...... is that accurate?

Pretty sure scrapple is made by taking whatever the spam people didn't take off the pig and combining it with sawdust.
