Interesting Southerns are stereotyped as America's racists, but it seems 95% of the time these riots and looting happen in non-southern states.  My theory is we've been living and working together for 100+ years and generally get along better. 

After the George Zimmerman acquittal in Sanford, FL.... not riots, no protest, no looting. If that had happened in Portland or LA, those cities would've burned to the ground.

I agree.  The minutia of each and every UofF encounter is what matters based on what a reasonable officer would do in those circumstances.  It appears that this is happening in the Floyd case. Even "not complying" is not justification of deadly force.  There has to be other elements present, no matter what that person did.

"For informational purposes we train with our handguns on our dominant side, and our Taser on our weak side. If you're right-handed you carry your firearm on your right side and your carry your Taser on the left. This is done purposefully, and it's trained. As I watch the video and listen to the officer's commands, it is my belief that the officer had the intention to deploy their Taser, but instead shot Mr. Wright with a single bullet," the chief said.

Gannon said that he believes "this was an accidental discharge, that resulted in a tragic death of Mr. Wright."
